RiverbendNorth Carolina’s mountains and foothills host some of the most spectacular views. I always admire the contrast you get with early morning light and the

view of of this bend in the Watauga River. It was an ideal composition.

Patience Fly fishing has always fascinated me and this past year I was given a real education to the art of it all. My new friend Doug was patient enough to

share his craft with me and the subtleties of what it takes to land trout. This beautiful stream is outside of Blowing Rock and home to some serious anglers.

It’s been an exciting time with my participation in the furniture and accessories trade. This October we debut my fifth artist inspired home collection, Simply Urban. It’s a mid century design with clean lines and a modern feel.

We also have a new collaboration with StyleCraft ushering in a new collection of eighteen lamps. It’s even given me the opportunity to experiment with some new painting styles. It all debuts in the Gallery this coming April!
