Bus Trips

How to order tickets Complete the enclosed form and send with your check payable to: Friends of Vineland Library Vineland Public Library 1058 E. Landis Ave. Vineland, NJ 08360 Reservations are accepted only if accompanied by payment in full. Please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Refunds You must cancel by the date indicated for each trip. We are sorry, but we cannot make any exceptions to this date. We’ll try to resell your ticket, but if we can’t, please consider it a donation to the library. Seats Seats are on a first come, first served basis. You do not have to keep the same seat for the return trip. Smoking Smoking is not permitted on the bus. Rest Stops We have eliminated rest stops on all our trips. The buses are now equipped with a lavatory. Driver’s Tip A tip for the driver is included in the price we charge for the bus ticket. You are not expected to tip individually.

~~~ Please note ~~~ If we do not have 35 or more people signed up for each trip three weeks ahead of time, the trip will be canceled. The bus company requires that much time in order to cancel without penalty. Friends of the Vineland Library cannot accept responsibilities for bus delays due to engine malfunctions or adverse weather conditions. We must adhere to our scheduled departure time in consideration of other passengers and bus parking

There’s nothing like D.C. in the spring and if we are lucky, the cherry blossoms will be in bloom. With handouts to help you plan, you will have a full day to visit our National Shrines and the extraordinary Smithsonian Museums, all for free or head over to Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Ctr. which has on display thousands of aviation and space artifacts, including a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, a Concorde, and the Space Shuttle Discovery. In Alexandria’s Old Town, tread the lanes where our first president once walked and soak up the at-mosphere of restored 17th and 18th Century build-ings. Don’t forget dinner reservations or just grab a pizza or burger.

We return to the ever popular Inner Harbor with its vast array of changing amusements, exhibits, shops and restau-rants to please every age and budget. Visit the National Aquarium, the Mary-land Science Center and the World Trade Center, or give your feet a rest with a Harbor Cruise to Fell’s Point, the Lexington Market or the American Visionary Art Museum. Venture into Baltimore proper on an “Old Time Trolley” to the famous Walters Gallery and the Baltimore Ohio Railroad Museum or stop at the Visitors Center for more ideas.

Take advantage of our bargain priced convenient transportation as we return to the “Big Apple” in the spring. Design your own itinerary and enjoy the theater, museums, varied cultural attractions, diverse ethnic restaurants and incomparable shopping. We’ll provide handouts to assist you. The bus will arrive in NYC between 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. Drop off is near the theater district or the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Departure is at 7:30 p.m. The exact pick up location will be announced by the trip leader at the time of arrival.
