The NED show is coming. . . The NED show will be coming to FVS on Friday, March 30th at 2:00. The NED Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have life long relevance: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best! During this assembly, students will learn about the NED messages while enjoying storytelling, magic, humor, and yo-yo tricks. Parents are welcome to join their children for this event. Our school gets The NED show for free because we are hosting a PAY-IT-Forward sale. For the week following this assembly FVS will make NED gear available in the lobby if students are interested in purchasing an NED item, any item purchased will help send The NED Show on to the next school.

From the Principal’s Desk,
I had the pleasure of going to see Cameron Bains play in the District III Music Concert at Boothbay Harbor Elementary School on Friday, March 11th. It was a wonderful concert full of very talented students as well as very dedicated music teachers who worked with the children. It was a full house with a large standing crowd as well.
Report cards are being sent home today. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s classroom teacher to discuss.
A reminder for students in grades 3-6, we will begin the state testing on Wednesday, March 23rd.
I hear there may be a storm on Sunday. I hope the weatherman is wrong!
