Planning trips for your group can be a daunting task. Good thing the LIRR is here to help. If you’re booking travel for 15 or more, our Group Travel department will assist you in getting the best discount and more. So gather a group today, and you can start saving tomorrow!

Two ways for your group to travel:1. Travel to NYC/return home off-peak only

• One group ticket –travel into the city and back on any off-peak train

• R/T prices range by Zone − R/T for students $4.25 - $8.50 − R/T for adults - $5.50 - $12.50

2. Travel into NYC off-peak/return home when you want

• Individual Return – travel into the city as a group off-peak with the option to return on your own – peak or off-peak!

• R/T prices range by Zone based on adult fares – from $5.50 - $12.50

School Field Trips are Our Specialty Sometimes you need a little assistance. Depending on availability, an LIRR Representative can meet you at your home station and accompany your group into Penn Station.

Subway Discount. Purchase 30 or more subway rides and save 25%. And if your group has 60 or more members, you may even be eligible for a subway escort.

Safety First. Each group leader receives special instructions on safe conduct for riding the train. Our mission is to keep children safe and help them become comfortable with using mass transit.

Getting Around NYCSubway Locations at Penn When you exit your LIRR train at Penn, walk upstairs one level to the LIRR concourse. Look for blue directional sign-bands along the corridors, or walk to 7th Ave. for 1, 2, 3 lines or 8th Ave. for A, C, E lines.

Broadway (Times Square to Lincoln Center): Walk: Use the 34th Street Entrance; 7th Ave. is to your right. Turn left on 7th to 42nd Street Times Square (eight short blocks—about 10 minutes). Bear left as the street forks to continue up Broadway.

Subway: Uptown 1, 2, 3: 1st stop on all trains is 42nd Street-Times Square. Use Local 1 : 2nd stop is 50th Street; 3rd stop is 59th Street; 4th stop is 66th Street-Lincoln Center.

Chinatown/Little Italy: Subway: Downtown A, C, E to Canal Street.

Greenwich Village: Subway: Downtown A, C, E to West 4th Street.

SoHo: Subway: Downtown C, E to Spring Street.

South Street Seaport: Subway: Downtown 2, 3 to Fulton Street; then walk six blocks east to the river.
