Rockin the Fields o Minnedosa is gearing up or itsninth year o welcoming ans to Minnedosa or an August long weekend o rockin tunes and un in thesun.
Tis years estival will be a three-day event run-ning rom Friday, August 3rd to Sunday, August 5th. In
years past, the estival kicked-of Tursday night withthe Battle o the Bands. Tis year, the Battle o the Bands
will be held Saturday aternoon, adding to the otherdaytime estival attractions such as volleyball, etc.
Te rst bands or the 2012 estival have been an-
nounced. Returning to RFM this year will be KennyShields and Streetheart, ake With Audio and Shat-tered. New to the RFM lineup in 2012 is Finger Eleven.Since orming in 1989, this Juno Award winning grouphave released ve albums and countless hit singles in-cluding OneTing, Paralyzer, Living in a Dream andWhatever Doesnt Kill Me . Teir sound has been de-scribed as loud, powerul and ast alternative hard rock.Finger Eleven is sure to be a welcome addition to rockans estival experience this summer. RFM promoter,om Crook, is currently busy trying to conrm otheracts to ll this years music line-up.

Last years estival saw a payout to these groupso $25,000 bringing RFMs total contribution back to thelocal groups to $105,000.ickets and camping passes or this years estival
are now available. Fans are encouraged to take advan-tage o the early bird ticket prices and purchase theirRFM passes beore April 30th.
