Cooperation for fossil-free cogenerationSiemens Energy and Göteborg Energi

Rya Combined Heat and Power plant (CHP)Gothenburg, Sweden

A dual fuel burner for operation on green fuels, gaseousas well as liquid, is targeted for demonstration in Rya in2024.

Fuel flexibility enabled by additive manufacturing:

Ø For R&D speed when developing next generation ofgreen burners

Ø For retrofit of existing unitsØ For faster repair and customer upgrades with new

functionality printed into themØ Switching from traditional supply chains to our own

additive manufacturing centers in Finspång, Berlin, UKand Orlando.

By 2025, all district heating in Gothenburg, Sweden, will be produced by renewable or recovered energy sources.
