Functional Innovation - to accelerate profitable and patentable ideas in an organisation

You believe that the ideas for a successful organization have to come from its people.

You're right. Almost without exception, the most successful companies have emerged and grown on the back of

innovative ideas generated from within. Borrowing from competition or hiring consultants to do the thinking for you,

is rarely successful as a long term business strategy. Given this fact, you would think that equipping its people with

effective skills to generate ideas would figure prominently in a company’s business strategy. Surprisingly this is not

true. A study by Innomantra showed that less than 20% of employees in Indian companies say that they have the

knowledge of techniques to generate ideas systematically. Why is this case? One reason is that most

organisations don’t believe that idea generation can be managed effectively as a management process. Join us at

the CII – Functional Innovation Workshop to see how organisations can transform the innovation skills of their

people, and enable them to innovate effectively at their workspace.

The Functional Innovation Methodology

Many leading companies now realize that by using the Functional Innovation Methodology it is possible to enable

its people to consistently generate profitable ideas, in a way that is easy, effective and enjoyable. This unique and

exciting approach to innovation has been developed by analyzing more than 29,000 recent product, process, and

business model innovations. At the workshop you will learn to use a set of powerful heuristic tools to generate great

ideas systematically.

“I am amazed that such a lot of right brain activity is channelized and triggered using the left brain!”
