Program Components

Program VisionProgram Mission

*Health Enrichment, including prevention, nutrition and exercise.Students are provided a healthy snack each day.*Academic Enrichment, including homework assistance, tutoring, interventions and computer basedlearning activities.*Recreation Enrichment, including sports, crafts, and clubs.*Service Learning activities involvingstudents in community contributions. A safe, structured and caring after school environment for every public school student in Shasta County, supported by the collaborative efforts of families, students, community members and local agencies.

We are fortunate to have a talented, caring, and hardworking staff who work collaboratively with our community partners dedicated to the needs of our students in our after school programs. Our Project SHARE staff understand the importance of providing our students with a rich academic experience as well as the opportunity to explore recreational opportunities. Without the dedication and love provided to our students many students would either be on the streets or further behind in school. I am so appreciative for the difference they make in the life of a child.

Message from Tom ArmelinoSuperintendent Shasta County Office of EducationTo engage children in enrichment activities which positively affect their academic, social and emotional development.
