• Similarities • Both magazines use the colours white and Black• Both use Red to highlight key information• Both have a Black back background• Both have the main singer stood in front of the rest of the band who are also at different

levels to draw the attention of buyers and show that they are the main• Both use puffs • The main person of each article is stood at a mid shot.

• Differences• ACDC’s image on the cover is in complete black and white this is because in the Rock world

they are instantly recognisable and it also stresses their classic rock legacy while Biffy Clyro as a more modern band is in colour.

• On the Kerrang! front cover there are more pictures as Kerrang! has a much younger audience and is generally a lot busier than classic Rock magazine this is quite possibly because Kerrang!

• Kerrang! unlike classic rock magazine uses multiple artists on its front cover so that it appeals to more people who like different bands while classic rock simply uses the band logo and a picture of them to attract its audience.
