• You will have approx. 1,000-1,500 resources chosen just for you!

• All based on more than 30 years of research at the University of Connecticut.

• Assignments are sent to your renzulli account from your teacher about once a month and you have about 3 weeks to complete these.

• Your teacher can email you and you can email your teacher but NOT other students.

• Renzulli is an excellent resource for researching.

Once you log on, click “I agree”…this says you will use the site appropriately.

Then complete the Student Profiler questions. If you want to switch your profiler to “Standard” you can do so by clicking on the link in the top right corner.When you finish your profile questions you should read your profile and then explore the enrichment activities!

• Now it is your turn to learn how to log online sources you find in your Research Log (in your binder). Make sure you are on the side that says “ONLINE SOURCES” in the upper right corner.

• Log into the computer, open internet explorer, go to your school’s library webpage, and click on “ONLINE DATABASES”

• Then search for “TUNNELS”• When you find a source, record the information on your research

log• Your goal is to log 3 online sources on tunnels…you don’t need to

read the sources or paraphrase (take notes).

Journal Expectations• Date on top right side of each journal page• Always put a title for each journal entry• Always write neatly and clearly• Please use all pages in sequential order• Please use your journal for educational

purposes only (no doodling… or else)• Keep the cover clean and neat
