In order to fulfill its mission, Future Steps focuses on the following objectives:

Future Steps, LLC partners with teachers and schools and provides customized Future Steps Lesson Plans that integrate classroom curricu-lum with the realities of the professional world. Future Steps Lesson Plans are built on profes-

sional world simulations that incorporate existing cur-riculum requirements and are subject and grade level specific.

Future Steps, LLC coaches young adults through changes in their academic or profes-sional careers. Whether the young adult is transitioning from highschool to college or from college to the professional world, Future

Steps LLC establishes a personalized plan to ensure each young adult receives the necessary preparation to leverage academic experiences in a way that will maxi-mize opportunities in the future.

Selling Yourself- On Paper and In Personthe objective of this workshop is to ensure that a young adult is able to develop clear and compelling college essay or resume; as well as be able to articulate these points in an engaging and persuasive manner during an interview.

What is Future Steps, LLC all about? It was founded on the principal of helping partner with schools, parents and educators to help every young adult maximize their potential and prepare them for college and most importantly the professional world. When I came up with Future Steps, LLC. The idea was built on two main thoughts:

1) Can you imagine how much more engaged and driven our young adults could be if we helped them understand and model how what they are learning in the classroom is directly connected to being successful at their dream jobs?

2) Then, once they see the connection between the classroom and the professional world, what would happen if we armed these same young adults with the communication skills necessary to effectively articulate and sell their personal strengths and experiences in a way that would open doors for them in the future? It is my belief that by coaching students in this way we could peak their curiosity, unleash their energy and inspire their passions. At Future Steps LLC, we focus on developing young adults to be successful professionals and fu-ture leaders

What made you come up with the concept for Future Steps, LLC?

It was during my first few years in the professional world, I re-member thinking over and over, “If I could have only told my 16 year old self…” Everything that I learned in school finally clicked for me when it became clear how and why it was rele-vant. So, my goal with starting the company is to help young adults see and make the con-nection early in high school and college, in order to engage in learning, thrive as students and be well prepared to become confident, courageous and passionate future leaders in their professions.

There are many college and career coaches, how are you and the Future Steps, LLC pro-grams different?

What are some expect- ed results a parent or school will see after a young adult partici- pates in a Future Steps, LLC workshop?

Each young adult who completes the program will have a clear un-derstanding of their strengthens and how they skills and experi-ences are connected and aligned to specific professional skills and career paths. As a result, the young adult will begin to develop some insight and understanding of what he/she may want to be-come and a path of who to get there. The young adult will also be able to explain and articulate his/her abilities in a persuasive and professional manner; thus being prepared for college in-terviews, internships or full time positions.

Future Steps. LLC is all about collaboration and partnership. It is not a quick fix to “just check the box” and get someone to the next step. It is meant to help students learn and build skills they can use for a lifetime and strengthen the schools ability to provide exceptional learning and development for their students.

Therefore, I am committed to partnering with parents, teachers and schools. The workshops and programs are focused on support-ing and enhancing the learning and counseling that is already taking place and tailor each work-shop to meet the needs of the students & parents and goals of the school.
