With the latest Fuze version, we’ve completely rebuilt the application across platforms to maintain a consistent, intuitive user interface -- also allowing us to scale and iterate at a more rapid pace of innovation. While consistent, the applications will have subtle nuances due to platform-specific technical requirements, most notably between the Mac and Windows desktop clients.

Mac default: show video conference/participants while screensharing.
PC default: minimize video conference/participants while screensharing.
Screen Sharing: Video Conferencing*
*users may override defaults via showing or hiding participants.
Screen Sharing: Fuze UI Visibility
Mac: hide Fuze UI (e.g. in-meeting experience, including chat, video pods, etc) while screensharing.
PC: Fuze does not currently enable screen share chat access due to not yet supporting chat dock/undock (available upon PC undock/dock functionality inclusion).

Local Contacts Integration
Mac: Fuze integrates with local address book. PC: Fuze utilizes server-side LDAP integration (Windows OS does not have a standardized address book).

Profile Photo Capture
Mac Default: Fuze includes a standard photo capture API.
PC Default: Fuze does not have a standard API photo capture and users must upload a local image file.

Chat: Undock/Dock
Mac: Fuze supports both undocking and docking chat.
PC: Fuze does not currently support chat undocking and docking (slated for upcoming release, documented known issue).

Fuze incorporates OS controls for closing, minimizing and maximizing Fuze application.

Mac: Fuze incorporates robust in and out-of-meeting tooltips.
PC: Fuze does not currently incorporate in and out-of-meeting tooltips (will be available in future release).

Mac: Fuze application home screen (“meetings list”) is available from within an active meeting.
