1. CONTRACTORS SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AS NECESSARY TO WORK WITHEXISTING CONDITIONS. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY DISCREPANCIES WHICH MAY AFFECT THE OUTCOME OF THE WORK.
2. CONTRACTORS SHALL PROTECT EXISTING SURFACES/EQUIPMENT FROM DUST, DIRT, ETC. DURING ALL CONSTRUCTIONACTIVITIES. AFTER ALL WORK IS COMPLETED, CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN ALL UNITS SO THAT THEY ARE FREE OF ANYCONSTRUCTION DIRT AND DEBRIS.
3. MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS SHALL COORDINATE CUTTING/PATCHING/REPAIRING/PAINTING ALLSURFACES AS NECESSARY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ALL EQUIPMENT WITH GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
4. THE LAYOUTS SHOWN ON THESES DRAWINGS ARE NECESSARILY DIAGRAMMATIC BUT SHALL BE FOLLOWED AS CLOSELY ASACTUAL CONSTRUCTION WILL PERMIT. CHANGES FROM THESE DRAWINGS REQUIRED TO MAKE WORK CONFORM TO EXISTINGBUILDING CONDITIONS SHALL BE MADE BY THE CONTRACTOR WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COST TO THE PHA, BUT ONLY WITH PRIORAPPROVAL OF THE ARCHITECT. ALL NEW EQUIPMENT SHALL CONNECT TO NEW SERVICES.
5. CONTRACTORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL, HAULING, AND LEGAL DISPOSAL OF ALL PRODUCTS, EQUIPMENT, ANDMATERIAL.
6. ALL NEW MECHANICAL WORK SHALL BE IN FULL COMPLIANCE OF THE INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE (CURRENT EDITION)AND ALL LOCAL CODES. ANY EXISTING MECHANICAL SYSTEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ALTERED TO ACCOMMODATE THEINSTALLATION OF ANY NEW WORK SHALL BE DONE IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES.
7. GAS PIPING MODIFICATIONS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL FUEL CODE, NFPA-54.
8. ALL PLUMBING WORK TO BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS PLUMBING CODE (CURRENT EDITION)AND ALL LOCAL PLUMBING CODES.
9. ALL ELECTRICAL WORK TO BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE (CURRENT EDITION) AND ALLLOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES.
10. REFRIGERATOR RECEPTACLE NOT TO BE PROTECTED BY GFCI.
11. ALL CIRCUITS SHALL BE CONCEALED.
