Unbox your LED lamp. To activate your free two year warranty, register the unique serial number printed on the base of each lamp at www.tp24.com within 14 days of purchase.

To insert your LED lamp, twist off the bezel on the downlight, insert your push fit LED lamp and reattach the bezel.

Cut the holes for your downlights and feed the plug & play tp24 ‘Linkage cables’ (5712) through each hole.

Isolate the power supply and wire the tp24 ‘Terminal connection cable’ (5710) to the lighting circuit. If you are not sure how to safely wire a light fitting, hire an electrician.

Once you’ve connected the first downlight to the tp24 ‘Terminal connection cable’ (5710), connect the downlights to the ‘in’ and ‘out’ linkage cables.

Fit the unit into the ceiling hole by bending back the springs and pushing the unit into the pre-cut hole until the springs snap back into place.

Decide which components you need, you will need one ‘Terminal connection cable’ (5710) for the first fitting in the series and one ‘Linkage cable’ (5712) for each subsequent fitting, depending on the spacing. If the spacing is greater than the 1.7m cable, join the two cables together and tape up if buried. Add an ‘End cap’ (5715) to the spare socket on the last downlight if required. G40 lamps are included with your downlights.

The tp24 G40 plug & play downlights come complete with our slimline, award winning G40 LED lamps which are fully removable, replaceable and upgradeable in the future.

Each tp24 LED lamp has a unique serial number printed on the base, when this unique number is registered on our website (within 14 days of purchase) it activates your two year warranty and enables tp24 to track each batch and ensure that any potential problems are tracked and resolved.

Plug & Play...

The design of the tp24 G40 plug & play downlights saves so much time and hassle over conventional wired downlights, eliminating the need to wire each downlight makes them simpler and faster to fit. See installation instructions on page 2.

The tp24 plug & play G40 downlight features a seal on the inside of the bezel designed to lock out moisture. This fitting has an ingress protection rating of IP65 making it suitable for use in certain areas of the bathroom. Please refer to the latest IEE wiring regulations.
