+Director of External AffairsResponsibilities include:

Stimulate/generate national membership from chapter

Execute Events with other Intercollegiate chapters as well as HSMAI Greater NY Chapter (i.e. Intercollegiate Conference)

Create relations with Hospitality Sales and Marketing professionals

Seek educational opportunities (i.e. externships/webinars/industry speakers)

+Director of CommunicationsResponsibilities include:

Record minutes at all meetings (both G-Body & E-Board) and keeps them archived on the Wiggio site

Send out e-mails both to the executive board and general body members

Reserve rooms at the Binenkorb for both executive and general body meetings

Manage events and announcements on the Wiggio & Facebook Group sites

Update HSMAI list-serve when necessary Manage club attendance record

+Director of FinanceResponsibilities include:

Manage the chapter's budget by keeping an organized budget plan and making sure the club is able to fund it's many activities

Learn how to fill out e-requisition and purchase order forms to execute the various payment requests

Responsible for helping other E-board members get funding for their activities that enhance the HSMAI experience

Submit copy of your resume and one page letter of intent in a zip file entitled “Name – HSMAI SP 10 Application” to Greg Bodenlos @ gsb28.

Letter of intent should: State the reasons why you’re interested in the position/positions Highlight your past leadership experience, and Illustrate why you have found being involved in HSMAI valuable State times available to do a 15 minute interview Week of 11/30

Permitted to apply for more than one position if desired.

Application Deadline: Electronic submission by Sunday, November 29 at 5 PM.
