NEW MEMBER MATTERS….

I still have a few new member packets that have not been picked up! Sponsors, please make sure that your new members know they need to pick these up! Many new members have completed both their work hours and meetings al-ready. That is great work by all. For all those new members that have both meetings and their 8 hour work re-quirement complete before the end of the Greene County Fair, their names will be put into a drawing. The winner of that drawing will receive next year’s dues free! It’s on us……. So get those work hours in now. Every month the hours worked and meetings attended are posted at the club-house. They are also posted on-line at: http://www.gcfng.com/membership/newmemberhours.html. It’s up to you to verify that I’ve got your meeting atten-dance and all work hours. If it’s not right, please let me know! It’s never too soon to start getting your hours in. So many things are still coming up for you to get work hours in. The Greene County Fair will need many workers to man our booth. If you like talking to people and selling raffle tickets this is the place for you! The annual picnic is a big event at the club and I will need many individuals to work on both Saturday and Sunday to help make that event happen.

at Board authorized events under the su-pervision of the Chairperson for the event.

RIFLE RANGES:

1.) The rifle ranges are the three East Facing 25-yard, 50-yard and 100-yarrd ranges

2.) Pistols may be used on the rifle ranges unless such use would interfere with a person wishing to utilize the rifle range for rifle shooting.

3.) The last half of the 100-yard range firing line (Southern most portion; from the firing line shelter southward) is closed when the traps are in use. Closure is for the safety of range users.

PISTOL RANGES:

1.) The pistol ranges are the three 7,15 and 25-yard ranges that face the North, located well behind the 25-yard rifle range.

Shooting on these ranges is to be done from the designated firing lines only. The 7-yard range is for handgun use only, no rifles or shotguns of any gauge or caliber are allowed.

The use of any firearm other than a pistol on the 15 and 25-yard pistol ranges, with the exception of a rim-fire .17 or .22 caliber rifle is strictly prohibited without board approval.

Details will come out in an e-mail soon, so stay tuned. Keep an eye on the club calendar for additional opportunities to work. Every event on the calendar is an op-portunity, all you have to do is get in touch with the event chairman and ask them what help he or she needs! Come on out and enjoy your club, it’s a great place to spend a day…….
