Hosted 35 live shows from the races in Norway on TV-Norge,plus live Derby Day shows on NRK – Norway's national broadcaster.Also contributed regularly to racing shows in the USA: The RacingNetwork in Philadelphia (Breeders’ Cup, Melbourne Cup) and Horsin’Around in Chicago – mainly for the Breeders’ Cup – also panel memberon various racing seminars at Arlington Park, Hawthorne Racecourseand OTBs in the Chicago area. In earlier years also guest on Swedish oncourse TV-productions and in 2005 on Attheraces in London.

1999 Editor, Hestesport – The Norwegian Equestrian Federation’s magazine,covering all equestrian sports. One-year contract during transition periodto new format and preparation work for website.

1997 – 2000 International correspondent to Racing World, racing monthly publishedin Hong Kong. Mainly feature articles on European & US racing.

1995 – 2001 Racing manager to Pegasus Racing, Norway – one of the leadingowner / breeder operations based in Scandinavia. Also bought a handfulof horses to race in Scandinavia, including Pistachio (ScandinavianChampion 3yo, Classic winner, Champion sprinter three years), Harrier(Champion 3yo, won Norwegian Derby, St. Leger), Impetuous Air(Champion filly, Classic producing broodmare) etc.

Managed the stallion Duty Time (Night Shift) for Pegasus Racing –who became Champion Sire, standing in Sweden.

1993 – 2003 Marketing & Promotions / Stallion cards etc. – produced stallioncards and promotional material, brochures, videos, advertising, websites, for various stud farms and stallion owners. Offered a “full service”production, with all work done from own office – pedigree research,updating of pedigree information, photographing the stallions, creatingselling points, writing scripts, providing layout work and preparation forprint or video productions.

1992-1996 Globeform Annuals – published racing annuals on top class horsesrunning in Europe and North America, with essays on all Group One /Grade One winners, plus ratings on all runners in Group races andGraded stakes. Essays with summaries and assessments on career /form, as well as information and comments on pedigrees. Globeformwas the first publication presenting a class based handicap on horsesracing in the USA and Europe, rating them on the same rating scale – allratings were compiled by Geir Stabell.

1992-1995 Forward Publishing, London. Sub-editor / writer / translator onHelpware Magazine, a customer / marketing publication produced forIBM. Worked in team of journalists and designers from various nations(the magazine was published in 14 languages). Contracted to theNorwegian edition but also sat in on editorial meetings with otherlanguages. All work tasks were performed in Quark Xpress on AppleMacs.

1991 – 2001 Weekly column on international racing in Skandinavisk Galopp,racing weekly published in Sweden, Norway and Denmark (please seemore under “2007”).

Published Breeders’ Cup Guides forHawthorne Racecourse and betting parlours in the Chicago area (up to1999). Guest on in-house TV-productions on international races.

1981 – 87 Scanform. Published six annual formbooks presenting all activethoroughbreds, on the flat and over jumps (around 2500 horses), inScandinavia. Essays and ratings provided for every horse. This was alsothe first handicap presenting horses in Norway, Sweden and Denmarkassessed on the same rating scale.
