Provost Remarks
To accommodate curricular changes consider the following:1. Increase opportunities to double count sections for
requirements (CORE and Major’ Dual Degrees; Majors and /Minors).
2. A course can count for more than one student learning outcome.
3. Faculty teaching load computed on a two-year rolling average – sometimes under-defined load; sometimes over-defined load.
4. Faculty teaching load will reflect teaching in/out of department and in/out of college supported by FTE SCH generation.
5. Create a banking system for compensation of dissertation; thesis; independent study credit.
