Howard enlisted us to

provide a complete

solution for them at their

new office in Jersey. We assisted in the

design, supply and install of a total elec-

tric backup system to ensure interrupt-

ible continuation of operations at their

Jersey offices in the event of a mains

electricity failure.

System:

250kVA prime power diesel Generator.

3000L fully automatic refuelling system

from basement to roof.

3 x 60kVA synchronised UPS system.

Full remote monitoring facility.

Project Requirements:

A bespoke 250kVA generator and 3 x 60kVA

UPS systems were supplied and installed

within a very short time frame in the heart

of St Helier’s financial quarter in jersey.

Reaching new heights, the equipment was

carefully craned and installed on the 6th

floor and on the roof to provide backup

power for this renowned firm of asset

managers.

We designed and installed this bespoke

system to meet the clients precise op-

erational requirements and comply with low

sound levels. Our design was delivered on

time and on budget.

We developed a bespoke system and instal-

lation and worked with a range of partners

including one of the UK’s largest independent

property development companies Dandara,

supply them with a number of generators

ranging from 11kVA up to 700kVA prime

power.

The client asked us to supply them

with a range of Cummins generators

to provide backup power supply to ten

separate fresh water pumping stations

and control room systems.

Each generator system was bespoke and

designed and manufactured to meet vari-

ous on site and operational requirements,

as well as complying with stringent WIMES

specifications.

We provided each generator with full

remote monitoring facility and internal

fuel tank, all installed within accoustic

enclosures including one of our special

high security “Generator Vaults” to achieve

the required low sound levels.

Services Ltd selected us to provide system design

and manufacture.

System:

Multi site generator systems including 1000kVA and 800kVA

prime powered by perkins engines.


Most recently we provided an 800kVA generator at 75dBA

@1m, to provide a backup power supply to the heavy duty

pumps and control room systems at the flood prevention

plant on the river Seven near Tewksbury. Our bespoke

generator system was designed and manufactured to meet

the operational requirements of the site as well as to comply

with the stringent MEICA specifications.

his prestigeous project is

a very exciting time for us

at GA Power. We have been

selected to design and

manufacture two x 250kVA prime power

volvo diesel generator systems.

System:

2 x 250kVA prime power diesel generators.


A bespoke project to design and supply

two generators to operate in synchronisa-

tion and be installed within a power car to

provide the sole electrical power supply

24/7 to the new luxury train being pro-

duced for the famous Belmond Ltd.

Our generator system is designed and

manufactured to meet the special

needs of railway operation and to comply

with the EU/UK regulations which include

anti shunt and high speed crash pro-

tection, together with low noise levels,

exhaust emissions and fire control.

T he Youth hostel Association needed us to

design, manufacuture, install and service a

number of generators across their sites.

System:

Multi site generator systems ranging from 22kVA to

150kVA standby power.


We have supplied and installed a number of generators to

this ongoing client to provide backup power supply to

their sites including their Head Office in Derbyshire. We

work with the YHA to ensure the equipment is correctly

specified and understood and then work together to

ensure a smooth project delivery. We then provide

ongoing service agreements for scheduled visits as well

as 24/7 emergency call out facility.

The generator, UPS and fuelling systems

were installed in an underground car

park and provide a total backup power

system to ensure the uninterruptible

operations required by the client in the

event of mains power failures.

The bespoke system fully met the clients

requirements and complied with the

applicable building regulations.

We supplied & installed an automatic

fuelling system, automatic fire damper

and acoustic louvres to the light well

together with specialist sound control

equipment to the generator area to

achieve the low sound level required.

A range of diesel generators have been

Most of the equipment provided to the

Institute are bespokely manufactured by us,

including a 1100kVA generator powered by an

MTU engine within a 40ft acoustinc container

to achieve a noise level of 70dBA @1m. Com-

plete with internal fuel tank and full remote

monitoring facility.

systems to this client including 2 x 550kVA synchro-

nised sets, 800kVA standby set and a 1100kVA standby

Cummins set.


We provided generators to offer backup power

supply to 3 separate distribution centres operated

by this renowned organisation. Each was a bespoke

system designed to fully meet the different on site

and operational requirements. Each system has full

remote monitoring and internal fuel tanks installed

within acoustic containers in order to achieve a low

sound level. We also supplied and installed an auto-

matic remote fuelling system to one of the generator

systems.
