separated into the 9 job families below:

refer. More specifically:

HIGH-TECH Sector

There are 42 sector job positions provided for the High-tech sector companies, presented within

12 sector job families. All sector codes start with the letter H.

The high-tech sector position reporting form includes the additional sector positions and

excludes those of the general job families that are not relevant to the specific sector or are

already included in the sector ones. More precisely, selected positions from “Information

Technology” job family are shown while the Job Family “Research & Development” is not

Alternative titles: Country Manager, CEO

Duties:

Directs and has full responsibility for

company's overall activities.

Approves company strategy and

operations objectives and ensures their

implementation.

Safeguards the company's image and

promotes effective relations with all

external groups (clients, authorities etc.).

Specifications:

University degree often at postgraduate level

and extensive professional training.

Usually 15-20 years of experience, most of

which at senior positions.

In-depth knowledge of the economic and the

market environment.

Fluency in English and often in a second

language.

Typically reports to: Board of Directors or superior in parent company

Typically supervises: 4-7 Managers/Directors and their personnel (commercial/services: 100-

150, industrial: 200-300).

Note: Positions such as CEO, Executive Presidents and Vice Presidents in large organisations

belong to the “GREATER” category.

implementation of company's financial

policy.

Provides overall direction for budgeting,

reporting, tax, accounting, financing,

credit and usually IT and sometimes for

Personnel functions.

Ensures effective administrative support

services to the company.

Specifications:

University degree often at postgraduate

level and extensive professional training.

Usually 12-18 years of experience, 8 of

which at a supervisory level.

Fluency in English.

Typically reports to: General Manager/Managing Director

Typically supervises: 3-5 Managers and their staff (14-25)

FIN 2. FINANCE MANAGER

Duties:

Formulates, recommends and ensures the

implementation of company's financial

policy.

Provides overall direction for budgeting,

reporting, accounting, tax and credit

functions.

Liaises with banks and other sources of

capital financing.

Specifications:

University degree often at postgraduate

level and extensive professional training.

Usually 10-14 years of experience, 6 of

which at a supervisory level.

Very good knowledge of English.

Typically reports to: General Manager/Managing Director or Finance & Administration

Director
