Now choose one of the marine creatures that you have researched and create a triarama to show it. You could create your marine creature in 3D to hang from the middle and then show the information around it. Below are some example triarama from other topics to show you how information can be presented. Use the template on the website.

Set up 6 stations (no equipment needed) Star jumps Lunges Squats Speed bounce over a playground line Burpees Spotty Dogs In pairs Ch 1 performs the exercise Ch 2 counts Switch roles TEACHING POINT: Allow Ch 30 secs each per exercise. Ch 1 exercises whilst Ch 2 rests; Ch 2 exercises whilst Ch 1 rests. Then, they change stations together. Ensure they stay in the same order so that they realise the benefit of the 30 second rest in-between. Repeat the circuit x 3 REST KEY QUESTIONS: How does your body feel now? Ask them to think about how their breathing has changed Why is it necessary to rest for 30 secs at each station? If time allows Follow the leader Space Ch out 2m apart around the perimeter of the playground They are to keep that distance between them Set off jogging around the area Call out sprint The last person sprints to the front and slows down into a jog again Repeat until all Ch have had a chance to sprint to the front. TEACHING POINT: The intensity increases when sprinting but by relaxing back into jogging, the Ch are effectively having rest periods. This enables them to keep going for longer. REST COOL DOWN: Gentle jog in and out of spaces Brisk walk Gentle walk Simple static stretching.

Follow the Lesson PowerPoint- Changing Landscapes Same Place, Different Time… Show the four sets of images in the Lesson Presentation. After each old photograph, allow children time to discuss: What might the location look like now? Reveal the recent image and take feedback on whether children were correct and if anything surprises them.
• How has the UK changed over time?
Introduce children to the Geograph website. http://www.geograph.org.uk/
Show how to find an old photograph of a location using “This day in past years” or the search facility.
Now, show children how to find the same location on Google Maps and then to use the StreetView option to see the location today.
