Established in 1824, the Park invites you to make your own history at one of Texas’ oldest ranches. We have charming facilities available for both indoor and outdoor events, including a turn-of-the-century chapel, a 1911 dance hall and our beautiful Tree House Yard. When combined, they create the perfect ambiance for your special day. Whether you prefer an elaborate buffet, food stations or an hors d’oeuvres reception, our venue is a versatile and elegant space to host your dream wedding. All rentals are for a four-hour period and include tables and chairs for up to 150 guests, linens in-stock, set-up and tear-down.

The Guy Lodge Hall is Texas all the way — wooden floors, a punched tin ceiling and stenciled walls. It was built in 1911 as a dance hall and was moved to its present location in the 1980s and restored to its original appearance. The Lodge Hall can seat up to 150 people; tenting for up to 400 guests can be arranged in the South Yard at an additional charge.

Built at the turn-of-the-20th-century as the Beasley Hardware Store and Post Office, this facility is great for housing luncheons, small meetings or as an overflow building to the Guy Lodge Hall. The Post Office can seat up to 40 guests.

Adorned with white paint, the original Chapel epitomizes the storybook church. Built in the 1900s, the interior is all-natural wood, as are the pews that will seat between 80 and 100 guests. Rental is limited to a two-hour maximum, including set-up and break-down.

Neighboring the chapel and nestled in lush green grass is our beautiful 20’x20’ gazebo. Rental is limited to two hours, including set-up and take-down. Seating provided for up to 150 guests; additional seats extra.

Built in the early 1900s for A.P. and Mamie George’s niece, the Tree House Yard is a great site to take family pictures or host a small intimate gathering. Rental is limited to 150 people and a two-hour maximum, including set-up and break-down. The site is only available after 5 p.m.

Enticing grassy yard area for up to 150 guests with large live oak trees for partial shade. Located adjacent to the Beasley Post Office. Can be tented (up to 40’ x 80’) for shade and protection from the weather; teepee lighting and tenting are additional charges.

Following your ceremony, enjoy vittles and dancing in our 1930s spruced-up barn. Provided for your buffet will be disposable plates beverage ware and our upgraded Rolled Reflections flatware. Perfect for an old-fashioned barn dance or a rollicking wedding, our rustic 1930s-era barn has air conditioning, a polished floor, tongue and groove wooden walls and a built-in stage! The facility was recently renovated and upgraded with lighting fixtures and ceiling fans and best seats 75 to 100 people. Seating for additional people can be provided outside with tenting (extra cost). Rental Fee: $1,500

The George Ranch Historical Park does not allow outside alcoholic beverages to be brought into the facility. Alcoholic beverage service is contracted for four hours of continuous service; overtime charges will apply for events lasting longer than four hours. Alcohol services can be provided for a maximum of five hours. All events with alcohol service are required to have two security officers present for every 100 guests. Alcohol will be served only to persons over 21 and will be withheld from any intoxicated person. Substitutions/additions can made for an additional charge.

The George Ranch Historical Park does not allow any objects to be affixed to our walls or ceilings with tape, nails, etc. All personal items must be removed from the facility at the conclusion of the event, unless other arrangements have been made. Client will have one hour to remove personal items and decor from facility, or client will be charged $200 per additional hour. Sparklers, Chinese lanterns and confetti are prohibited at the George Ranch Historical Park. Please consult our Event Coordinators about available decorating options.

Once the space is blocked, a terms and conditions contract will be sent to the client for signature. This contract must be received by the Event Coordinator along with deposit, for the function to be held on a definite basis. If the terms and conditions contract is not received by the Event Coordinator, the function is considered not booked. It is the responsibility of the signer to read and understand the contract. Once final arrangements have been received by the Event Coordinator, a proposal will be prepared and sent to the contact for approval; it must be reviewed, signed and returned to the Event Coordinator within 24 hours of receipt.

Fort Bend County sales tax rate is 6.25%; 10% gratuity will be added to the proposed estimate. A minimum deposit equal to the facility rental, or 25% of the event total, is required to book your event, unless large vendor’s deposits are required. The final guest count must be received thirty days prior to the event. Otherwise, the count indicated when the function was initially booked will serve as the guarantee and the host will be billed accordingly. If attendance falls below the final guaranteed number, the event host will be charged for the final guaranteed number. If actual attendance exceeds the final guaranteed number, the event host will be charged accordingly. Final payment is due in full by cash, check or credit card thirty days prior to your event. Additional charges incurred will be billed accordingly via credit card on file. Please provide a credit card to secure deposits for contracted services provided by the George Ranch Historical Park. Any outstanding balances remaining at the conclusion of the event will be billed to the credit card on file unless alternate arrangements are made with the client prior to the event. Cancellations must be received at least six months prior to the event in order to receive 50% of the deposit.

The George Ranch Historical Park reserves the right to approve or deny requests inconsistent with the primary objectives of the Park. Events for partisan political purposes are prohibited. Although our catering department has printed menu selections, we welcome the opportunity to create a special menu to accommodate your taste or follow a specific theme function. Final selections are requested one month prior to the event. Rental fees are based on four-hour increments plus two hours immediately prior to the event to allow for decorating. Should additional time be needed, prior arrangements must be made and will be billed in hourly increments at $200 per hour plus additional charges for each vendor/event element

By written notice to the other party at any time prior to Arrival Date (unless otherwise noted), either party has the right to reschedule the event within one year of the event date, in the event that one or more of the following occurs: Acts of God, declaration of war, government regulation, terrorism, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, travel warnings issued by the World Health Organization or the Center for Disease Control in applicable arrive, departure or destination cities, or other situations beyond the party’s control. Written notice of rescheduling in light of a Force Majeure will be the responsibility of the host and not the venue.

Only the George Ranch Historical Park is licensed and authorized to sell, serve or prepare food on the property. No outside food or alcoholic beverages of any kind will be permitted into the Park. Under no circumstances is food or beverage to be removed from the Park preceding or following an event (with the exception of a wedding cake) due to health code standards and regulations. All outside vendors are contracted through the George Ranch Historical Park in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and venue insurance requirements. The exceptions to this procedure are floral arrangements, photographers, officiant and wedding cakes.

When alcohol is served, venue-approved security is mandatory: Two officers are required for every 100 guests. The Park will hire on your behalf off-duty uniformed police officer(s) who will remain throughout the course of the event at the rate of $35 per hour, per officer. Alcohol will be served only to persons over 21 and will be withheld from any intoxicated person. The George Ranch Historical Park will adhere to all applicable laws and all TABC regulations as they pertain to the service of the event. Decisions made by Event Coordinator and/or security officers are final. PLEASE NOTE: NO ALCOHOL TO BE BROUGHT ONTO PREMESIS AT ANY TIME, including preparation hours for your event.

The George Ranch Historical Park requires the client to provide proof of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 for individuals and $2,000,000 for corporations per occurrence naming the following entities as additional insureds: The George Ranch Historical Park, Fort Bend County Museum Association and the George Foundation at no cost to the venue. Venue is not responsible for damage or loss of any merchandise or valuables of host or the host’s guests, located in the venue prior to, during or following any event. The event host, not the venue, assumes liability for any damage to the venue by the event host, the host’s guests, third parties or any independent contractors employed by host for the event.

If you are renting an outdoor facility and would like to reserve an indoor facility as a second option for inclement weather, the full rental fee will be charged to reserve the additional facility. Being at the mercy of Mother Nature, we make no guarantees in regard to weather and no refunds will be made for rain outs. If applicable, re-scheduling MAY be offered.
