ABOUT OUR INSULATION PRODUCTS

Gerard Daniel Worldwide began as a wire cloth distributor in the Northeast United States in the 1950’s. The business was founded on two principles:

• Partnering with low cost and/or high quality mills throughout the world • Offering products and services not otherwise available

Throughout the years, GDW has grown in size, geographic reach, manufacturing capability, and product range. Today, GDW is represented by five geographic divisions:

• Eastern U.S. Division (Hanover, PA) • Western U.S. Division (Ontario, CA) • Southwestern U.S. Division (Houston, TX) • Canadian Division (Mississauga, Canada) • European Division (Limerick, Ireland)

Each division has its own rich heritage and accumulated experiences. With our geographic divisions we have become the largest supplier of industrial wire cloth in North America.

We carry deep, broad and price competitive inventories of wire and metal accessories used in the industrial insulation industry as described in the following pages.

INSULATION PRODUCTS

Handi-ReelsThis plastic reel holds either 5 or 10 lbs of wire. It allows for easy tangle-free payoff.A standard carton contains five Handi-Reels .

CoilsWe supply wire in coils of any desired weight. Our stock weight coils vary from 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 lbs. Our capabilities allow us to supply coils of any size.

Rebar CoilsStock rebar coils are 3.5 lb. These coils are used for a rebar dispenser. Any alloy can be packaged in a rebar coil. Please call for other specialty weights of rebar coils.

SpoolsSpools are typically used in all applications of wire. We have the capabilities to supply wire on any type of spool. Standard spools come as 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 25 and 40lb in either plastic or metal.

Handi-CansThe wire is wrapped inside a cardboard or plastic canister. This packaging allows the wire to pay from the top center of the can. Each can typically holds 1 lb of wire.

Handi-PaksA cardboard box that pays out the wire through the top center. Handi-Paks typically hold a 10 or 12 lb coil of wire and measures 10” x 10” x 2.5”. A standard carton contains five Handi-Paks .

We can provide wire to meet your exact needs for the insulation industry. Offering a variety of packaging, including Coils, Spools, Handi-Paks, Handi-Reels and Handi-Cans. We are set up for short runs and are able to ship most custom orders within days. Stock items can normally ship the same day.
