GLG Councils offer rewarding and convenient consulting opportunities to professionals. Here are the steps: Step 1 | Apply

The application at www.glgcouncils.com usually takes about 15 minutes to complete. 

Step 2 | Council Membership

Once an application has been accepted, applicants are notified  by email of their membership status. 

Step 3 | Invitation to Consult

Clients contact GLG with inquiries about industry trends or specific products and services. Council Members whose backgrounds match the inquiry topic may be invited by email to participate in a paid consultation. 

Step 4 | Accept or Decline Invitation

Members can accept or decline an “Invitation to Consult” for any reason and should only accept projects on topics they are  comfortable with and permitted to address. There is no minimum  time commitment and Council Members can opt out of receiving  invitations at any time.

Step 5 | Consult

Members consult over the phone, in-person, or by online survey. Phone and in-person consultations last 45 minutes on average.  Online surveys typically take 15 to 25 minutes to complete.

Step 6 | Prompt Payment

After a phone conversation, members invoice GLG by logging on to https://councils.glgroup.com. Payment is sent within one week of completion. Payments for surveys and meetings are sent automatically within one week of the consultation.
