Is your device not functioning? Try using the Software Repair Assistant (SRA). Simply connect your HTC device to your PC or Mac via USB Cable, and use the SRA to install the most current Verizon Wireless-approved software version. Plus, it will automatically back–up and restore device data. All designed to ensure that your HTC device is operating on the latest software.

When you connect your phone to your PC, you will be prompted to install HTC Sync Manager (HSM). Select “Download” to install HTC Sync Manager.

SRA USER INSTRUCTIONS

• Connect your HSM-capable device with your PC via USB cable. Click the “Repair” button under Verizon Wireless Assistant. Be sure device is unlocked — only unlocked devices will be detected.

• After the repair process is completed a success notification will pop up.Note: While repairing the device, the phone is unusable. Do not manually power down device until the repair process is completed. Do not disconnect the device while the repair is in progress, as this may leave the device inoperable.

Note: If the “AutoPlay-CD Drive: Installer” does not display on your PC to begin the SUA installation, the AutoPlay setting on your PC might be turned off or there might be other restrictions on your PC preventing the installation. Please check the settings on your PC or try to connect your device to another, unrestricted computer.

• Select “Repair” to start the repair process.
