When asked to tell us about his family, Pastor Chuck responded: “I’d love to tell you about my tribe. After all, they are the best part of me. Karen is the love of my life. She is a very bright and shining light. She is a remarkable mother. Moreover, for the last 9 years she has worked for the Intentional Growth Center at Lake Junaluska.

Chase is 31 and a Lieutenant in the United States Army, 4th Infantry Division, headquartered at Ft. Carson, CO. Ryan is 29 and works as a Program Consultant for The First Tee, a non-profit that seeks to make the game of golf accessible to underserved kids. He is married to Gina, 27, who is a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She works for the World Health Organization. Molly is 25 and lives in Chapel Hill with her husband Ben, 28. She works as the Director of Social Media Development for the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill. Ben works for a high-tech firm in the Research Triangle Park near Raleigh. Mackenzie, 23, lives in Nashville where she leads a ministry she started in college. Delight is a ministry designed to launch, grow and sustain Christ-centered women’s communities on college campuses across the country.”

CALLED CHARGE CONFERENCE A Called Charge Conference will be held Monday, June 27, at 7:00 pm in Room 94 to approve compensation for our

incoming Senior Pastor, Dr. Chuck Wilson and changes for our Youth & College Ministry Director, Corey Milliet.

YOUTH STAFFING UPDATE Our Staff Parish Relations Committee has approved a new staff configuration within Youth & College Ministry. Effective immediately, Reverend Corey Milliet, who has been leading the ministry on an interim basis, will now serve as our new Youth & College Ministry Director. The Senior Leadership at Matthews UMC wholeheartedly recommended Corey as a leader whose personal ministry has exemplified our mission to REACH, TEACH, PRAISE & SERVE in our community and beyond.

Joshua Marshman will serve as Associate Director of Youth & College Ministry. He has created a strong foundation of trust by building relationships with parents, youth, and student visitors. Please help congratulate and pray for Corey and Joshua in this extraordinarily busy season of missions and outreach.
