INCLINED FURNACES SERIES ROT• Main technical advantages

– Rotating furnaces reach a complete material grinding and thermal destruction, obtaining completely carbonized and roasted ash

– Ash is completely roasted and stabilized becoming fully inertized– Ash is pre-melted and vetrified and is unloaded into a water channel (redler)

where it is violently quenched and reduced into vitreous shivers, to be classified as inertized material and to pass the solute cession lab tests.

– The ROT furnaces can be loaded with different waste types also mixed together offering the greatest possible loading flexibility of the incineration plant and reaching the maximum possible quantity of electric energy producted and as well producing a notable always positive economic income, rendering the bank financement amortizable with high profitability.

– ROT furnaces offer a long operative life without heavy maintenance costs.– ROT furnaces are easy to be conducted and with a limited number of operators

OTHER NOT LESS IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES

• The civil works necessary for the plant, at charge of the client, are limited to the minimum (it is necessary only a shedded building with a plain basement concrete slab)

• The soil surface necessary for the plant is substantially contained• ROT furnaces are a long term experienced technology and offer a very effordable

solution of the waste problem without encountering bad surprises.• ROT furnaces offer full certainty of the economic return (pay-back)• We can show many ROT furnace units working, with very low short yearly down

periods, since a long term, with full evidence the emissions to remain always below the permitted limits by the local air pollution authorities (ARPA), with official analysis certifications executed by the State authority itself (stack gas AFS depuration plants by Ing.Gallarati)

• The efficiency in heat and electric energy recovery is comparable with that obtainable with other more complex and expensive plants, but with very low cost maintenance and short shut down period.
