Cover Letter Regarding the Attached AhleSunna School Bill of Quantities
Attached is a document called a “Bill of Quantities”. It lists materials, labor, and cost
estimates for a proposed new school. It was prepared by the Ghana Education Service,
and is a standard plan used throughout Ghana.
Ghana Together has launched a project to replace the current AhleSunna School in Axim,
Ghana, with a modern 6-classroom building with toilet, library, headmaster’s office,
storage room, and teachers’ room.
This document was sent to Ghana Together by Western Heritage Home, our partner in
Axim, Ghana, who worked with the Ghana Education Service to procure it. We are
confident in this plan.
Note the costs are given in Ghana New Cedis. The exchange rate on today’s date was
One (1) GHC = about $0.50 US cents.
