Workshop on ‘Electrical AutoCAD Training’

Electrical Engineering Department of G. H. Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Management,

Jalgaonorganizeda week long training program on ‘Electrical AutoCAD’between 13/03/2018

and 18/03/2018.

The training was coordinated by Pehla Job, Mumbai.The objective of the training was to get

theknowledge of the software and to develop skills required in the industry and also at different

job sectors. Students were guided by trainer Mr. Murgan and were trained in basic AutoCAD and

advanced AutoCAD. The points covered during the training were introductory part of AutoCAD,

single and multi-wire circuits, project files, symbol creation, panel drawing etc. The entire

departmental staff took efforts for the smooth conduct of the program.

Technical workshop on coding in IoT

The department of CSE and IT organized a two days workshop on IoT for the

students of the department on 2nd and 3rd April 2018. Trainers from ‘Mitu

Skillologies,Pune’ Mr.Tejas Rawal and Mr. Aniket Thorawe were invited to give

hands on training on IoT i.e Internet of Things. On the day, the trainers were

welcomed at the hands of head of the department Prof. Sonal Patil and workshop

coordinator Prof. Swati Patil. The main focus of the workshop was on introduction

to IoT, various features and advantages of it, need of IoT, introduction to

Raspberry Pi and introduction to various sensors and actuators. The participants

performed various experiments associated with IoT by using the toolkit provided

by the trainers. They performed experiments by using various sensors and

Raspberry Pi. As it was hands on experience on Raspberry Pi and various sensors,

they learnt each and everything enthusiastically. It was a great learning experience

for them. The workshop coordinator Prof. Swati Patil along with the teaching and

non teaching staff of the department took efforts to make it successful. Honorable

Principal Dr. Prabhakar Bhat appreciated the department for organizing such

workshop for the students.

Industrial lecture on SAP certification process and actual role of

SAP technology

A Trainers Training Programme for SAP was arranged at G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering &

Management, Wagholi (Pune). It was a two week workshop especially arranged for the Trainers

i.e. for faculty members who would teach students after completion of this training. From G. H.

Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Management, Jalgaon 6 faculty members were chosen

namely: Prof. Ganesh Dhanokar & Prof. Govinda Borse from IT Dept, Prof. Rahul Chinchore,

Prof. Hiralal Solunke, Prof. Dipti Sonawane from Computer Dept & Prof. Gazal Gupta from

MCA. During this two week workshop a trainer from Seed Infotech gave training on SAP which

is an advanced ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) package. It is a complete package which

provides solutions to the different business functons. Now a days many multinational companies

are using SAP ERP package to effectively run their business operations. This workshop was

consisting of introduce to SAP with its scope in the market. There were two different modules

TAW 10 & TAW 12 which were covered during the program. This Trainers Training program

will be beneficial for the students, because they will also learn SAP package within the institutes

by the trainers. By arranging such training for the students, the institute is providing a way to

learn new technology & creating job opportunities for them. Mr.Pritam Raisoni ( Executive

Director-RGI, Jalgaon), Dr. Prabhakar Bhat (Principal-GHRIEM, Jalgaon) along with Head of

all departments encouraged faculty members & students to participate in this training

programme.

Workshop on Adopting Solar Energy by Industries, Colleges and

Schools

G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Management, Jalgaon in association with kWatt

Solutionspvt. Ltd.has organized Business Model Workshop on“Adopting Solar Energy by

Industries, Colleges and Schools” on17th& 18th June 2016. The program was inaugurated by

Hon. Executive Director of GHRIEMJ PritamRaisoni , Hon. Principal Dr. PrabhakarBhat,

Executive Director of GHRIBMJ Dr. PritiAgrawal, HOD of Electrical & E&TC Department

Prof. K. V. Bhadane by lightning the lamp.The Anchoring and introduction was done by Prof.

Sonal Patil. Principal Dr. Prabhakar Bhat welcomed by felicitatingexteme guests Mr. Ayush

Mahajan Executive Director of kWatt Solution &Mr. Venkatesh Marab from kWatt

Solution.kWattsolutions private limited is a company incubated in the society for the innovation

and Entrepreneurship (SINE) is developed by Mr. Chetan Singh Solanki, Professor of Electrical

Department, IIT Bombay. Dr. PrabhakarBhat started the workshop by extending his enthusiasm

and happiness about the successful execution of the workshop. The total scheme and business

proposal was discussed effectively by Mr. AyushMahajan and team with the delegates.

The purpose of this workshop was to installthe small scale solar power plant at Institute

and industry level which will provide the required consumable electricity at the user end and to

make economic and social benefitsout of it. The delegates from nearby institutes were present to

attend this workshop. They found it very useful and effective for the academic curriculums and

also to reduce tariff. The solar panels which will be implemented on the rooftop can also be used

as experimental setup for innovative research. The industrial delegates also found it very useful

for uninterrupted power supply. They got influenced by this proposal and shown the positive

interest for it.

Two Day Workshop on “Basic Solar Training Program”

Department of Electrical Engineering organized aon Two Day Workshop on “Basic Solar

Training Program” dated 18th and 19th march 2016 at GHRIEM, Jalgaon. For this two days

training program, we had invited Mr. Shubham Joshi,Mr. Virendra Singh Rathod, chief co-

ordinator, Kwatt solutions incubated at IIT Bombay. Prof. K.V. Bhadane (HOD Electrical

Engineering Department) and all the Teaching faculties were present on this workshop cum

hands on training program. Along with guest speaker, Mr. Deepak Chawhan was also present as

co-ordinator to give the practical demonstration on the solar products. The Anchoring and

introduction was done by Asst. Prof. Ms. Minal J. Nikose. Prof. K. V. Bhadane has welcome the

guest by giving floral bouquet to them. The session was guided succesfully by Shubham

Joshi,Mr. Virendra Singh Rathod. Vote of thank was given byAsst. Prof. Ms. Minal Nikose.

The first session was conducted by Mr. Virendra singh rathod by explaining the basic

need of solar system products and the basic concepts of it. He gave the idea about solar energy

scenario in India and also told about basic solar photovoltaic technology. He has given the

software demonstration on “PVSyst” a simulation toolkit to understand the system design. The

practical demonstration was guided by Mr. Shubham Joshi and Mr. Deepak Chawhan while

manufacturing Solar based mobile charger and light seeking robot by using solar tracker and

solar intensity meter.

Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Kwatt Solutions,SINE,IIT Bombay.

Under the presence of all faculties of Departement this MOU was signed to give industrial

exposure to the students. For the overall development of student the interaction of an institute

and industry is very much essential and this is one of the step of ETC Dept.and Electrical Engg.

Of Engineering Andmanagement Jalgaon. Workshop Was Conducted By Mr. Nachiketkulkarni.

He Was Well Experienced In Transformer Manufacturing, Testing And Repair. He Has About

16 Years And Above Experience In The Field Of Transformer Manufacturing, Testing, Design

And Repair. He Was Worked With (1)M.S.E.B(Maharashtra State Of Electricity Board) (2) N.

C. C. L (3) M. J. P.(Maharashtra Jeewanpradhikaran). The Workshop Was Started With Great

Enthusiasm By The Introductory Lecture Of Prof. K. V. Bhadane. The Anchoring And

Introduction Of Guest Was Done By Asst. Prof. Ms. Minal J. Nikose. Prof K. V. Bhadane Has

Workshop Was Mainly Focused To Explore The Practical Concept Of Distribution

Transformer Design, Manufacture And Assembling The Various Parts Of Transformer Such As

Stamping Installation Of Low Voltage And High Voltage Winding On Transformer Core With

Hands On Practice. This Also Performing Different Types Of Test On Transformer To Find Out

The Theprimery As Well As Secondary Side Resistance, Also Conducted Insulation Test On

Transformer Winding.The Lecture And Practical Session Delivered By Mr. Nachiketkulkarni

From N. Kenin Transformer Ltd.,Latur Were Very Intellectual, Informative For The Students

And Faculties. Mr. Nachiketkulkarni And Assist. Mr. Sangappakallashetti Gave Practical

Demonstration About The How To Make A Winding And Also Given A Guide For Assembling

The Winding.
