AWARENESS PROGRAM ON OCCASION OF WORLD WATER DAY
Dhole Patil College of Engineering organized an Awareness Program on Occasion of World
Water Day 2019 for all students and faculties. The program was conducted on 22/03/2019.
World Water Day is an annual UN observance day that highlights the importance of freshwater
with different themes for every year. The theme for WWD 2019 is “Leaving no-one behind”
The purpose of the program conducted in college was to create awareness in students and
faculties regarding actual scenario of water on earth, scarcity of water, remedies to be taken for
optimum usage of water with help of various performances. Prof. Shantanu Kokate from E&TC
department gave highlights of ancient methods of conserving water. Students of NSS did a
street play on water wastage done by people around in their daily chores and its consequences.
The program was concluded with a pledge for proper usage of water.
The said program was organized by Civil Engineering Department and was co-ordianted by
Prof. Sharayu Turkhede(Civil).
BMW Joyfest 2019 was held at Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune on 16th March 2019
and 17th March, 2019. It was an adrenaline fuelled celebration where people were taking
control of BMW and also watching their adrenaline levels race off the chart. It was a different
experience for them.

New Trends in Engineering
1. Fingerprint Recognition Based Biometric Voting Machine
The electronic voting machines are using in Indian general and state elections to implement
electronic voting. This machine can reduce the time of voters and easy to count by comparing
the ballot system. In earlier days there were rumors about the EVM’s but as per the Delhi court
and Supreme Court the electronic voting machines are using. The following image shows the
electronic voting machine.
The biometric is a technology of measuring, science and it analyse the biological data. In the
modern communications approximately it has accessible electronically, users of computer
technology, it has increment in electronic services and with the security system. It improves in
the election system with the help of new technologies in voting process. The information about
election data is stored, recorded and processed the above information as a digital information.
In olden days the information security is with the help of military and instructions of the
government. The human body characteristic like DNA, fingerprints, voice patterns and hand
measurements is used for authentication purpose. The e-services and information security are
making sure that data, communication, have the security and privacy enable.
Electronic Voting Machine
The e-voting is known as electronic voting. It is a voting and by using the electronic resources
to help and taken care of the tasks and counting votes. The ranges of internet services are
included in e-voting and it depends on the situation. The amount of automation may vary from
simple task to a solution that can have voter registration, votes input, local, vote date services,
tabulation and administration of elections. Admirable e-voting system should be done most no
of tasks and full fill the set of standard establishments through regular bodies.
The electronic voting machine contains punched cards, optical scan voting systems and
particular voting kiosks. It can engage ballots transmission and votes via telephone and the
internet. Generally there are two types of e-voting, which are the following
Which is physically supervised by representatives of governmental or independent electoral
authorities for an example in the polling stations
I- voters where the voter can vote at home and also without going to the polling station.
2. Building Information Modeling (BIM) Will Be Used in Large-scale Applications
More civil engineering projects this year are likely to see large-scale utilization of the Cloud
technology and Big Data. Also, latest in the list of innovation is the Building Information
Modeling (BIM). Engineers can now create virtual models of their designs through intelligent
3D modeling process. This futuristic technology can speed up the time taken to turn building
drawings into reality. Construction of bridges, electricity networks, and superstructures can
gain momentum with workable virtual models of the designs. As BIM and 3D modeling
provide engineers a chance to visualize completed designs at the onset, the design process is
poised to be cost-efficient and more streamlined in the future.

There was a very brilliant boy,
He always scored 100% in Science.
Got Selected for IIT Madras and scored excellent in IIT.
He went to the University of California for MBA.
Got a high paying job in America and settled there.
Married a Beautiful Tamil Girl.
Bought a 5 room big house and luxury cars.
He had everything that makes him successful but a few years ago he committed suicide after shooting his
wife and children.
So, WHAT WENT WRONG?
California Institute of Clinical Psychology Studied his case and found “what went wrong?”
The researcher met the boy’s friends and family and found that he lost his job due to America’s economic
crisis and he has to sit without a job for a long time.
After even reducing his previous salary amount, he didn't get any job. Then his house instalment broke
and he and his family lost the home. They survived a few months with low money and then he and his wife
together decided to commit suicide. He first shot his wife and children and then shot himself.
The case concluded that the man was programmed for Successes but he was not trained for Handling
Failures.
Now let’s come to the actual question, what are the habits of highly successful people?
First of all, there are many people who will say you about success habits but today I am saying you even
you had achieved everything then there is a chance to lose everything, nobody knows when the next
economic crisis will hit the world. The best success habit according to me is getting trained for handling
failures.
I also request every parent, please not only program your child to be successful but teach them how to
handle failures and also teach them proper lessons about life.
Learning high-level science and maths will help them to clear competitive exams but A knowledge about
Life will help them to face every problem.
Teach them about how money works instead of teaching them to work for money.
Help them in finding their passion because these degrees will not help them in the next economic crisis and
we don’t know when the next crisis will hit the world.

You are going... your wish.... I will say one thing to you.....
I will meet you again. Said and how... I don't know.....
But I will see you again...
Sometimes the first rain of the season..... I will soaked your mind...
Sometimes I will give you a strong wind...... I will give you your hair......
I will still be so stubborn... you are a million....
I will give you again...
Sometimes like that flowers.
Blooming in your eyes.
The one who is like this one day-2.You made me on my shirt.
I love you.
Will be emerging like a figure.....
You will keep your eyes on you.
I will keep you my eyes without eyelashes.....
What will you do?
You are going... your wish....
I will tell you one thing.....
I will meet you again.... said and how... I am.....
But I will see you again...
