The Bible speaks of the ancient “giants” of the land of Bashan. Nineteenth century explorer, Josiah Porter, penetrated this now-deserted region. He found their empty cities still standing. He opened

Porter measured doors 9 feet high by 4 ½ feet wide and 10 inches thick (that is, 270 cm by 135 cm by 25 cm). These were indeed cities of giants.

This giant stone axe head was unearthed by Rex Gilroy near Bathurst, NSW, Australia. It is 25 pounds in weight. The man who used it would have been 12 feet (4 meters) tall or over,

I have personally handled this human finger bone from ancient Turkey, which is more than twice the length of people alive today. The owner of this finger needed to be at least 12 feet (4 meters)

tall.

In the late 1950s, during construction in south-east Turkey, many tombs containing the remains of giants were discovered. At two sites the leg bones were measured to be 47.24 inches (120 cm). Joe

Taylor, Director of the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum, in Crosbyton, Texas, was commissioned to

sculpt an anatomically correct, and to scale, human femur of one of these ancient men that had been excavated. The giant stood some 14 to 16 feet tall (420 to 480 cm), and had 20 to 22 inch long feet

(50 to 55 cm). His or her finger tips, with arms to their sides, would be about 6 feet (2 meters) above the ground.

This fossilised 12 foot 2 inch (365 cm) man, with a chest girth of 6 feet 6 inches (195 cm) and arms 4 feet 6 inches (135 cm) long, was dug up in County Antrim, Ireland. This photograph was taken at the London and North-Western Railway Company’s Broad Street goods depot. It was propped up

for viewing against a 19th century railway carriage. It totally dwarfed the railway carriage.

After a discovery of giant human remains in Saudi Arabia in 2000, pranksters appended the following two doctored pictures to the report, in order to discredit the find. Their aim was,

apparently that, when the pictures were revealed as hoaxes, the report (itself genuine) would be considered untrue. (Read on, below Picture No.20.)

discredit this finding by circulating substitute fake pictures backfired.

MODERN DAY GIANTS Occasionally, extra tall people are reported from various places in the world. In modern times, gigantism is an exception. And even then men or women do not reach anywhere near the stature of men before the Flood. Today’s atmospheric pressure and oxygen ratio do not support healthy gigantism.
