If another version of Nortel Contivity Client is currently installed, it must be

deleted before installing.

Welcome Screen Once the application has downloaded, the install Wizard will initialize.

Press the “Next” button to continue.


License Agreement

You must agree to the product license agreement to move forward. Select “Yes” to continue the installation.


Destination Location

Press “Next” to select the default destination where files should be installed.


Program Folder

Press “Next” to select the default program folder.


Install and run as an Application

Select “Install and run as a service”, press “Next” to continue.


Start Copying Files

Installation options can be reviewed before starting the installation of the product. Select “Next” to begin copying files.


Installation Complete

Installation has successfully completed. Choose whether to restart your computer now or later. Your computer must be restarted to use the product.


Contivity VPN Client

Once you’ve restarted your computer or the first time you initiate your new Contivity Client, the above screen will display. Select “Yes” to use the Connection Wizard to create your Galileo IDS connection.


New Connection Profile

This screen allows you to name and describe your connection. Enter a name and description, press “Next” to continue.


Authentication Type

Select to be “authenticated” by Username and Password. Press “Next” to continue.


User Identification

Enter the User Name and Password provided to you by Galileo International. If you would like to save your password for future use, select “save the password”. Press “Next” to continue. Note: User Name and Password may be case sensitive.


Group Authentication Information

Select “Yes, I have a group ID and Group Password”. Press “Next” to continue.


Group Authentication Information

Enter the following: Group ID: CTIC (all capital) Group Password: C7T6I5C (all capital) Press “Next” to continue


Host Name “Destination”

Enter destination name: gids.galileo.com (all lowercase). Press “Next” to continue.


Dial-up Connection

Select “No I do not want to dial first”. Press “Next” to continue.


Connection Profile Complete

Your connection profile is complete. Press “Finish”. You must restart your computer to use your new Galileo IDS connection.
