GIFTED AND TALENTED
PROGRAM YEARS 7 & 8
On Tuesday the 24th of November year 7 and 8 Gifted and Talented
students of West Wallsend High School showcased their projects.
Many staff and students of West Wallsend High School attended

variety of projects including “Frost Fair” food made by year 7
students, which was available to be eaten by attending guests. Year 8
students completed studies on the body which were presented in a
diverse range of visually appealing posters. A Ukulele performance

Schools are always working out the best ways to work with parents in order to assist students. If
you have any medical or health specialist reports relating to your child’s learning,
vision, speech or hearing we would like to know about them.
In addition, physical and psychological conditions can also affect learning. If you have any of the
abovementioned reports that have not been shown to the school already, could you please let the
principal know about them as soon as possible. All information provided remains confidential.
HELP US TO ASSIST YOUR CHILD
TAKE HOME A BIG BROTHER OR BIG SISTER!
Let’s get organised early!
Give your children the wonderful opportunity to have an international big brother or big sister by hosting one of our exceptional international students arriving in Australia in January 2016 for their 5 or 10 month programs. Our international students from France, Germany, Italy, Austria Japan, the U.S.A and Canada will live as a local, attend a local secondary school, arrive with their own spending money and comprehensive insurance cover – all arranged by Southern Cross Cultural Exchange. Call your local coordinator today on: 0429406126 to request some student profiles, and capture the spirit of family and friendship!
