Greenstreak Landscaping, Inc., won 2 awards at the annual California Landscape Contractors Association Central Coast Chapter Beautification Awards Banquet held on Friday, June 27 at The Dream Inn, Santa Cruz. Rebekah Children’s Services, a non-profit that is dedicated to promoting the social, emotional and physical well-being of children and families, is proud to announce Bill Faus has been elected to the Board of Directors as Member at Large. Board President, Mike Young, said he is thankful for the opportunity and looking forward to working with Bill. DreamPower Horsemanship is proud of their Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International 2014 Region 11 award winners. They are, Terri Stinson, Volunteer of the Year; Gary

Stauber, Certified Professional of the Year and Pete, Therapy Horse of the Year. These three award winners were selected from among the 73 PATH Intl. therapeutic horsemanship programs in California, Nevada and Hawaii. All three regional winners are now finalists in the national competition. They will receive their awards and the national winners will be announced at the PATH International Conference Awards Banquet in San Diego on October 31 of this year.

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County announces the grand opening of the new Adelante Family Resource Center, operated by Rebekah Children’s Services. The center is designed to provide young children with a place to learn, play and interact with their parents and caregivers as they prepare to enter kindergarten. Old City Hall Restaurant presents A Night of Fado, taking you away to Portugal through music.
