DESCRIPTION - The target of the GIOTTO project is the innovation of the processes of test and maintenance of the CAEN ELS products; it aims to their complete automation, through the adoption of digital technologies as RFID, Web Services, Smartphone app,

IoT solutions, big data analysis in an optic of “Fabbrica Intelligente 4.0”.

TTARGET - The target is twofold: to increase the automation and the efficiency (major faults coverage and prevention) by concurring to increase both the quality index of the products, and the service level provided to the users; to develop and to provide to the customers a new business focused on the management of a modern and advanced

maintenance service.

RESULTS - CAEN ELS will perform a breakthrough with respect to its traditional com-petitors, because in this market such kind of innovation has not appeared yet.

We foresee a reduction of 25% of test costs, and 30% of maintenance and after sale support costs, besides positive fall-out for the increase of the production capability

and the costs reduction.

GIOTTO is a project funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region (Bando 2017 POR FESR 2014-2020 Activity 1.2.a (Intervention 1.2.a.1) “Incentivi alle imprese per attività di innovazione di processo e dell’organizzazione – aree di specializzazione agroalimentare, filiere produttive strategiche, tecnologie marittime e smart health”.
