Girls Day Out - ENC Ministers’ Widows GiftApril 14, 2018

This year, we are asking every group to donate one fun-filled gift bag with the following items:

• Hand lotion• Box of blank cards• Book of stamps• Pepper spray• Small devotion book• Flashlight• Batteries• First-Aid Kit• Greeting card signed by all of the girls• $20 bill

It is our goal to shower over 50 of Eastern North Carolina’s sweet ministers’ widows with our love.

Anything donated will be greatly appreciated.

Girls Day OutBrave Shield Showcase

Each participating group is asked to do the following:

1. Select the materials you will use to construct your Brave Shield.(one shield per group)2. As a group, put your creative abilities to work by designing/creating/decorating your Brave Shield.3. Transform your item into a work of art. Keep in mind, the design/decor of the shield must line up with this year’s GDO theme.4. Your shield must not exceed the size of a standard poster board (22” x 28”). Feel free to use creative liberty in the shape/style of your shield, but keep this size limitation in mind.5. The girls will present the shield for the showcase.

© A Heart for the World: YWEA: Every club can be a part of this ministry. The money sent in by each club will

go toward the YWEA project “European Renaissance: Sending the Light Across Europe”. YWEA will join forces with World Missions and ignite the light across this region of the world. We are asking God to bring revival, renewal, and spiritual awakening to the people of Europe. In keeping with the YWEA mission and vision, the 2018 YWEA European Renaissance Project will be sending the light across Europe. Joining forces with the Girls Ministry Department, YWEA will make a lasting impact in the lives of girls and boys across Europe.

© A Heart for Home: Church of God Children’s Home of NC: We are collecting Campbell’s labels to

redeem for various items for the Church of God Children’s Home of North Carolina. Please count the number of labels and list them on the place provided on your Project/Activities/Offerings form and then mail the labels directly to the home at: Church of God Children’s Home of North Carolina, 3485 Orphanage Circle, Concord, NC 28027. Remember, to receive proper credit for any monies or labels sent directly to the Home, please send a copy of your check with your monthly Girls Clubs report.

own Glenda Shuler of Louisiana is a member of this team. Several regions in our group are unable to afford Girls Ministries materials because of the size and financial challenges of their regions. Often their leaders are unable to attend important training sessions. Through your love gifts and support the girls and leaders of these states/regions can enjoy the fun-filled activities and programs we enjoy.
