About the Alternative Christmas Market
The Christian tradition, especially during Christmas, includes sharing in ways that
promise renewal for ourselves and others. The purpose of the alternative Christmas
market is to provide people with the opportunity to give Christmas gifts that will
bring the true joy of Christmas to the giver, the recipient and to those who are in
need.
With the market, everyone has the opportunity to:
• Visit information booths to find out more about the various missions our church
supports. Bring your children and grandchildren to help them learn about giving
to the community..
• Decide which missions you wish to support and fill out the price sheet.
• Support your favorite causes with a financial contribution by check, cash or credit
card. Cash or check payment avoids service fees.
• Select a card and insert that describes the contribution you made for the people
on your shopping list. You can use the card and insert as your Christmas gift.
100% of your contributions are sent to the organizations you specify.
The gifts are representative of the services provided by the organizations and the
organization is informed of the specific gift you selected.
Your gift makes a difference
