Cutting Notes: Mark and store your cutting pieces according to the block they have been assigned to, as this will make it much easier when you start piecing. Be sure to read the entire pattern before you begin. This quilt involves appliqué techniques.

CURVED PIECED BLOCKS:(8) “A” wave pieces using provided template.(8) “B” wave pieces using provided template.QUILT TOP SASHING:(2) 2½” x WOF strips. Piece strips and subcut__(1) 2½” x 64½” strip.BINDING:(8) 2¼” x WOF strips. Piece strips together to form a__ continuous binding strip.

Backing 5⅜ 76” x 94” piece of batting.

Constructing Curved Pieced Blocks (using template piecing)

1. Match centers of Fabric D “A” template piece and Fabric G “B” template piece and then pincurves. Sew with ¼” seam allowance to complete (1) block. Make (8) D/G Blocks. Square to 8½”.

2. Make (8) blocks for each <Fabric 1>/<Fabric 2> combination below:

Quilt Top Assembly

3. Pieced row. Noting block orientations, sew (8) identical curve pieced blocks to make a row.

4. Sew pieced rows and sashing strips to complete pieced portion of quilt top, in the following order from top of quilt.

5. Using quilt image for placement guide, arrange appliqué pieces on pieced quilt top. Once happy with placement, sew appliqué pieces in place using method of choice to complete quilt top.

Finishing

6. With the backing fabric laying taut, place batting and then quilt top to form quilt sandwich.

7. Baste and quilt as desired.

8. Attach Fabric K binding to complete quilt.
