Plunge pool cover

Covering your plunge pool with a glass dome will reduce heating costs and protect it from falling debris, helping to keep your pool cleaner for longer. Some customers choose interesting shaped pools, such as round or kidney shaped, where the extra space can be used for relaxing in the sun.

A Solardome® glasshouse enables you to grow a range of exotic wonders you never thought possible in our unpredictable climate. They also create an excellent greenhouse environment for you to experiment with modern growing techniques such as aquaponics, hydroponics and vertical growing.

Growing vegetables

A Solardome® glasshouse provides an environment in which vegetables grow strong and healthy, non-native plants flourish and citrus fruits thrive. To maximise the potential growing space we offer free-standing (one or

two tier) aluminium staging units and wooden planters which fit the circumference of each model.

Greenhouse or tropical domeThe ultimate glasshouse for passionate gardeners.

There are five domes in our Solardome® outdoor living range, suitable for any garden size and use.

All are designed and built to withstand the unpredictability of climate change. Due to the natural strength and aerodynamics of the geodesic design, they remain robust and comfortable even in extreme weather conditions.

Materials

Built with mill finished aluminum and single glazed 4mm toughened glass, they come with base level ventilation, mechanical window winder units and a secure inward opening conservatory-style door.

Silicone sealant and UV stable plastic glazing strips provide a weather-tight seal.

Options

All domes come with a white (external) and silver (internal) finish as standard and can be power coated in green, grey or brown if desired. The glass panels can be swapped for other 4mm panels to suit your intended use.

The diameter or height of your dome can be customised to suit your needs (between 3-10 metres diameter).

It is also possible to link domes together, attach a dome to your house, or have a geodesic skylight to light up a room or courtyard.

What do I need to consider to install a dome?

Your Solardome® glasshouse generally will not require planning permission and can be installed by you using our comprehensive assembly instructions, or by our experienced team which then includes our one year installation guarantee. The domes do not require deep foundations just a level, hard base such as paving slabs, concrete, decking, or block brickwork.
