I am ever aware that we are not alone in our quest for Burmese and Buddhist souls. As I visit your churches and talk with you I sense your burden for our work and I am ever aware of your intercession for us. We also pray for you. Thank you for being our friends. I would like to tell you some of our present needs so you may pray more effectually: Peter Judson and his family, members of our home church, are yet waiting for their children s U.S. citi- zenship certificates, not so they can remain here but so they may return to Myanmar. God has called them to go back to the third city of missionary Adoniram Judson, to plant a church and take the Gospel to their people, the Pa-O tribe. Peter was the first convert and his mother was the second. To their knowledge they as a family are the only born again Christians among this people group yet today. Our plan was that I should re- turn to Myanmar with them as they got started. We had planned to leave in June, then July, and with promises from the USCIS, then August. But now we do not know. Please continue to pray for the Judsons. In the meantime, I have been in churches in West Virginia where I have witnessed a true Holy Ghost revival of repentance. The rapturous joy of this was more than I can explain. Nineteen souls were saved. But what was most remarkable was the waves of both young and old who repeatedly filled an old-fashioned altar, begging God for forgiveness. Puddles of tears were left on the wooden floor and tracked away in footprints as prayers could be heard, saying, Oh God, Im so sorry. One young man with wetted face and sobbing audibly told the vast crowd, I dont know what is happening to me! Ive never been this sorry for my sin before.May this kind of revival spread across America! GLBM always has many special needs. But presently we have such pressing needs that we are really praying for miracles. Here is two of them: Pastor Htein Win Ei of the Aunglan Baptist Church was my initial con- tact in Myanmar, back in 2008. He is a wonderful, Spirit-filled man of God who has worked selflessly by faith for years, in the midst of great persecu- tion. He has built a ministry of meek yet powerful Christians. They desper- ately need a church building but dont have the funds or the physical space to erect one. We are helping them purchase a lot adjacent to their present property. A local contractor there has given an estimate for construct- ing a 20’ x 60’ building for $15,000 but we will get other estimates. Also, because of a sudden influx of addi- tional students and orphans in their churchs school, children are forced to sleep under mosquito nets in a cleaned-out chicken coop. They have done their best to disinfect the area but it remains very unhealthy for the children. WE MUST CON- STRUCT A DORMITORY AND NEED $10,000 FOR THAT IMMEDI- ATE NEED. Please pray for them and GLBM! Pastor Emmanuel Sinoy has one of GLBMs strongest ministries with a church, school, orphanage, and Bible institute. Souls are saved every week. Because of devastating storms in his Philippines homeland, his support has dropped recently where he was unable to pay the rent on his own home and the church building. He has not had sufficient funds to buy food for the children or put gasoline in his buses to transport the students. He desires to return to the Philippines to raise additional support but cannot go at this time. He and his wife were given a Burmese baby girl more than two years ago. They have been trying to adopt her but the teenage birth-mother can- not be found. They must complete this adoption before they can leave Thailand with the child. They need at least $1,000 immediately for adop- tion proceedings. Please pray for all these very pressing needs. Pya Thakin kaunggyi pe ba si!
