Glenbervie School Forest Fun Run & Walk: What a fantastic day it was for the 25th Anniversary of this event. We had 436 entries. The courses were well set
and clearly marked, thanks to Oliver Tattersfield. Big thanks to Jane Atkinson, who spent many hours organising the day, the PTA team and school staff. We would also like to acknowledge all the sponsors, (these are listed at the back of the Newsletter), please support them!. We thank the sponsors for their continuing support of Glenbervie School.
2019 Class Lists have carefully been compiled with much deliberation. Teachers have considered your child’s academic needs, social maturity, behavioural factors, student relationships and class dynamics before committing to the make-up of each class. A lot of thought and effort has gone into these decisions to place your child effectively where their needs will be met. We are fortunate to have fantastic teachers with different strengths and abilities who will share best teaching practise with our students. We are looking forward to an exciting 2019. The children will find out their class details on Wednesday, 12th December.
LOST PROPERTY Clothing worth $100’s is
going to be donated to
charity.
Can parents please:
1. Check the box for property. 2. Get your kids to do the same. 3. Name ALL your children’s clothes
Glenbervie School Hats: Glenbervie School Hats with printed logo are available to purchase for $13 from the school office.
End of Year Assembly: The End of Year Assembly will
be held on Thursday, 13th December 2018, 10.30am at
the Tikipunga High School Auditorium. We are asking
parents to help transport students to and from
Tikipunga High School. Please complete the attached
form. Students aged 7 years or under will go on the
bus unless they are with their parents. This eliminates
the issue we have with car seats. We encourage
everyone to attend the end of year prize giving where
the Academic and Diligence Awards for each
classroom are presented. We will also farewell our
Year 6 students at this time.
