The global buildings sector is growing at unprecedented rates, presenting an enormous opportunity
to cut energy bills, energy use and greenhouse gas emissions through efficiency improvements.

Despite the buildings sector offering significant cost-effective GHG mitigation potential, it is not
given adequate attention in most Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
