AIESEC and global talent

AIESEC is the largest student-run organisaon in the world, present in 128 countriesand territories, with the purpose of developing global youth leadership.Founded in 1948, aer World War II, AIESEC aims to become a relevant youth voice,by providing young people with responsible and entrepreneurial learning experiences.

The world is changing fast and educaon systems are leaving young people unpreparedto deal with the pace of economic, social and technological change. Lebanon needs more leaders with an internaonal skill set and global perspecve.

Global Talent is an internaonal professional internship abroad, that gives universitystudents and recent graduates the opportunity to board on a global experience.

Internships are available in a variety of countries and regions, from Middle East andNorth Africa, South America, Asia-Pacific to Western Europe-North America and Eastern Europe, and they can last from 6 months up to 1 year, 1 year and a half.

Internships can be in start-ups, medium-sized companies or mulnaonals, and aredesigned to give you a professional development experience that will take you onedesigned to give you a professional development experience that will take you onestep further in your career.

We are looking for talented young graduates with the open mindset to travel abroad and embark on a challenging journey, people who can adapt easily and are flexiblein their choices and are not afraid to try new things. A pair of good skills is alwayswelcome, especially in your field of study, as well as a range of languages spoken fluently.

BUSINESS AND FINANCE

Careers in the IT sector are consistently on the rise. Soware, web, and mobileapp developers are in high demand and work experience in these fields is crucialto ge ng the job. With a Global Talent internship in IT, students and recent graduates are able togain new skills in an internaonal work environment.

Profile: Computer Science and Informaon Technology graduate (preferred)Some basic experience in web & soware development or mobile development and personal / professional projects.Knowledge of three or more of the following, at a intermediate level: PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Python, MySQL, Django, iOS, Adobe.

Profile: Markeng, Graphic Design, Media or PR/Communicaons graduateSome basic experience in either design, market research, social media, community engagement, PR, branding, adversingKnowledge of three or more of the following, at a intermediate level: Corel, Photoshop, SPSS, Sales skills, Database design (depends on the internship, some require pure design in markeng, some technical markeng)

Markeng is part creavity and part logic – combining aesthecs with a strongmessage for a company’s target audience. An understanding of a product posioning is key to this domain and interns can expect to build upon previous experience. Those that take on these opportunies can choose to work in sales, markeng,market research, and design.

Working in Business Administraon and Finance requires a lot of wit, technical knowledge, but also interpersonal skills.

An opportunity in accounng, human resources or finance analysis can be thebeginning of a great foundaon for your business career!

Profile: Business Administraon, Economics, Internaonal Relaons graduate(or anything related, preferred)

Some basic experience in financial analysis, accounng, econometrics, stascs etc.Knowledge of two or more of the following at an intermediate level: SAP/Oracle,Accounng soware, MS Office excellent, SPSS, Databse design etc.

Internships last between 3-18 months.Salary depends on the economical development of the country you’re going to, but usually it isenough to cover your expenses.Accommodaon is not provided, but hosng enty will guide you around to find a place to live (if there is an interns flat, the beer)
