GLUTTONY: CRAVING MORE THAN I NEEDSteve Holdaway
Definition of Gluttony Called one of the seven deadly sins, gluttony is characterized by a limitless appetite for food and drink and overindulgence to the point where one is no longer eating just to live, but rather living to eat. Gluttony is consuming more than one needs. It is refusing to say, “Enough.”
The Warning of ScriptureTheir destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. Phil. 3:19

The Biblical Principle: The Glory of GodSo whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Comfort Food Idolatry“Essentially, gluttony is making food a drug.”
