1. This machine must be connected to the same mains voltage as shown onthe rating plate.

2. This machine is not suitable for picking up health endangering dust.

3. This machine is for dry use only and shall not be used or stored outdoorsin wet conditions. Store indoors between max. 60 ºC (degrees centigrade)and min. 0 ºC (degrees centigrade).

4. This machine is not suitable for removing any kind of liquid.

5. Carpets treated with a liquid cleaner must be allowed to dry before beingcleaned with the machine.

6. The machine must not be used for picking up combustible or explosivematerials, nor should it be used in an explosive atmosphere.

7. Never use your machine to vacuum matches, glowing embers, or cigarette-ends. Avoid vacuuming hard, pointed objects, since they may damage themachine or dust bag.

8. Never operate the machine without a dust bag.

9. The cover cannot be closed if a dust bag is not inserted. Please do notclose forcibly.

10. Keep children away from this machine. If must not be used on people oranimals.

11. If your machine has a fault, please contact your electrical retailer or anauthorized service agent.

12. If the mains cable is defective, the complete cable winder must bereplaced by a service agent.

13. The plug must always be removed from the socket outlet before startingany service work of the machine or the cord.

14. No changes or modifications to the mechanical or electrical safety devicesshould be made.

1. PULLING OUTThe power cord is long enough to bedrawn out for convenience.

2. REWINDINGWhen you have finished cleaning,disconnect the plug from the electri-cal outlet and simply press the cordrewind button lightly with your toe.

With the cord plugged into an electricaloutlet, start or stop the vacuum cleanerby pushing lightly downward on theswitch with your toe.

The vacuuming power can be adjustedto suit any situation with the electricalpower control.

MIN = For delicate fabrics, e.g.net curtains.

MAX = For hard floors and heavilysoiled carpets.

NOTE: When removing the power cord from the electrical outlet, grasp theplug, not the cord.

NOTE: If the “Dust-Full” indicator continues to display “RED” even after changing the dust bag, turn the cleaner off and check whether thehose, tube or nozzle is clogged.

books, etc.

1. Disconnect the hose from the bodyof the cleaner.

2. Connect the hose clamper to theblow hole.

REPLACING THE DUST BAG

1. To open the dust cover of the dustbag compartment, press the clamper upward.(The clamper is located at the frontof the dust cover)

2. Remove the carrying bag from thecleaner.

NOTE: Used dust bag can be sealedby removing the film from thepaper and sticking the latterover the suction opening.

3. After removing the used dust bag,insert the cardboard bag collar of thenew dust bag into the carrying bag,and then insert it in its original position

4. Press the dust cover down gentlyuntil the clamper relocks.

MAINTENANCE OR REPLACEMENT OF THE FILTERS

1. INLET-FILTER.• Open the dust cover.• After detaching the filter, wash it lightly with

water, dry it in the shade, and then insert it in its original position.

• Close the dust cover.

2. OUTLET-FILTER.• Open the dust cover, and then pull grille-filter

forward.• Remove and replace the exhausted outlet-filter.• Push the grille filter, and then close the dust

cover.

USAGE OF FLOOR NOZZLEFOR RUG / FLOOR SELECTORBefore use make sure that the position of the selector is in the right position forthe type of surface to be cleaned.

Select the carpet indicator 1 when cleaning carpets.Select flat surface indicator 2 when cleaning the floors, tiles, etc.

NOTE: For optimum efficiency, clean floor brush with crevice tool.

TROUBLE SHOOTINGPROBLEM CAUSE REMEDY

CARING THE Pet Brush turbine (GM 100 Sprint Plus Pet Pack model only)

Open the cover. Push up theboth sides of cover. Lift itupwards and detach it.

After cleaning the turbine, reposition it into its’ ownplace. It cannot be reassembled if the ends of tur-bine are reversed. If you washing the turbine, itshould be dried thoroughly.

To reattach the cover, align hinges of cover withslots on the inner sides of nozzle. After aligning,press the both sides of cover.

Smart Protector (transparent turbine)(GM 100 Sprint Plus model only)Transparent tube prevent the tube and hose frombeing clogged by obstacle like as socks and clothes. When transparent tube is clogged.Separate the nozzle from the tube. Remove the aliensubstance with a stick from it. After cleaning it,reassemble the nozzle to the tube.

Motor does not start.

Suction force is graduallydecreasing.

Cord does not rewind fully.

No power supply.

Filter, nozzle or suctionhose or tube is blocked.

Check that the cord is nottwisted or wound unevenly.

Check cable, plug andsocket.

Remove the object.

Pull the cord out 2~3m &push down the cord rewindbutton.
