Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about to run out for planet earth. They know that some events of major proportion are about to take place. But without the light of God's Word, they really don't have a clue as to what they are, or when they will take place.

Yet from the beginning, God has revealed the events of the end-time. This has been done two ways: through His prophetic Word, and by past events recorded in the Scriptures that reveal the future in a very unique way.

Page 3: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

God in His infinite wisdom has placed signs in His Word along our journey into eternity,to let us know when we are on the right track. Many end-time events are foreshadowedin the beginning of the Old Testament, and their confirmations are interwoven into theNew Tesament, even to their complete fulfillment in the book of Revelation.

The first Key:

In Isaiah, chapter 46, we find our first key to unlocking the revelation of manyend-time events:

Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

It seems that God has given us a blueprint in the Genesis account which extended from the creation of Adam to the end .

There is a sequence of events that must transpire in God's timing to fulfillthe prophetic Scriptures. The question then becomes, what form or fashion did hechoose to relay these events to us? This Scripture states that Jesus opened His mouth in parables.

Mathew 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Page 5: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Matthew 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Matthew 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

So, it goes with out saying, that as Christian’s we should not be caught by surprise or be confused as to God's plans for mankind or the timing of these earth-shaking events. Yet Jesus said:

Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Page 7: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

There are chaotic times immediately ahead for the inhabitants ofplanet earth who refuse to heed God's prophetic warning and continue to walk in their own darkness defying God who createdthem.

The prophet Malachi gives us a glimpse of their judgement:

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

We have all heard people say, “I've been hearing for many years that we are living in the last days, so that couldn't be true.”

Hebrews, chapter 1, gives us a valuble clue concerning this matter.

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

We know that God has been speaking to us through His Son for almosttwo thousand years. However, in Luke 13:31,32 it seems that Jesus alluded to the third day, which could be prophetic of the millenial reignof Christ.

Luk 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. Luk 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Page 9: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

God does not want us to be confused about these events leading to the end. He has recorded certain events in Scripture that serve as signposts to keep us on the right road.

If you started a trip of several hundred miles and after a few hours were unsure if you were on the right road, you would be concerned and possibly confused. As soon as you saw a road sign revealing that you were on the right road, youwould immediately be relieved of all doubt and confusion. However, if the signrevealed that you were on the wrong road, you would imediately begin to searchfor a map to see where you had missed it, and how to get back to the right road.

Key number Two:We find the second key in 2 Peter, chapter 3:

2Pe 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2Pe 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Page 11: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

In verse 8 Peter reveals the second major key to understanding certain end-time events:“One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day”This simply means that in certain places in Scripture; a day represents a thousand-yearPeriod.

For instance, in the Scriptures you will find the phrase “the Day of the Lord”.This at times refers to a thousand-year day.

Peter implies that we could be ignorant about some things, but he admonishes us not to be ignorant about this one thing, for it is an important key to understandingend-time events.

Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

2Co 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

A Kingdom after Six Days

Jesus, Himself was bringing us back into remembrance, giving us road signs showing the plan and time frame that God had for us.

Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Mat 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Mat 17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. Mat 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

This passage is loaded with prophetic truth. Matthew 16:28 speaks of the son of man coming in His kingdom, then the next verse begins with “And after six days . . .” So, the kingdom will come after six days on God’s calendar. What follows in the passage is clearly a reference to the Second Coming of Christ: “. . . an high mountain . . . his face did shine as the sun . . . Moses and Elias . . . tabernacles . . . a bright cloud . . . a voice out of the cloud . . .” All of this is Second Coming language, and it all comes “after six days.” Clearly, this is no accident.

Jews Believe after Two Days

Here we see Jesus abiding “two days” with the Samaritans, a people that the Jews counted unclean.

Joh 4:40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. Joh 4:41 And many more believed because of his own word;

The Galilaean Jews received Christ after He had spent “two days” with a people that they counted to be unclean. So, Israel will receive Him after He has spent two thousand years with mostly Gentiles, calling out a people for His name (Acts 15:14).

Joh 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

Then, we read in verses 43 to 45 Jesus talking to his disciples:

Joh 4:33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Joh 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Joh 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Page 14: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

The Genesis account states that God labored six days, creating the earth and making man in His own image, then He rested the seventh day.

Remember, God spoke the end from the beginning. Each of the six twenty-four hour days represent a thousand years of God's dealing with mankind.

Paul, in Hebrews 4:3-5, states:

Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Heb 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Heb 4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

Page 15: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Again, it is clear that the seventh day in the Genesis account represents a day of rest for God's People.

Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. Heb 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Heb 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. Heb 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

During that time of rest, Satan will be bound and confined to the bottomless pit as Christ and His saints rule in His kingdom.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Alright, let’s start with the fallacy concerning the creative week in Genesis.

Exodus 20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

The fact that many have forsaken this truth for such fallacies as the day-age theory (in order to allow a convenient time frame for Darwin’s theory of evolution) doesn’t disannul the fact that the word of God teaches clearly and only a literal six day week of creation. The Scriptures are very clear about the matter: the earth was created and populated in six literal days.

If the long geological ages really took place, that means there were at least a billion years of suffering and death in the animal kingdom before the arrival of men and women in the world. This fact leads to the following very disturbing chain of conclusions, as follows:

Throughout history and particularly in the last 200 years there has been concerted opposition to the creation account of Genesis chapter 1 and chapter 2. Even a lot of Christians now doubt the literal interpretation and are of the view that God may have used evolution over millions or billions of years to evolve the animal kingdom to where it is now. So does it matter what you believe about the origins of the Earth? The answer is most definitely yes. There are huge implications with regard to the rest of Scripture.

1) The Bible is not really an authoritative guide, for if it is wrong in these important matters of science and history, which we “supposedly” can check for ourselves, using scientific and historical investigation, then how can we trust it in matters of salvation, heaven, and everlasting life, which we have no means of verifying scientifically? In fact Jesus said in John 3:12.

Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

2) Death is not really the wages of sin, as the Bible says, for violence, pain, and death reigned in the world long before sin came in. God would then be directly responsible for this cruel regime, not Adam.

Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

3) Still more significantly, if physical human death was not really an important part of the penalty for sin, then the agonizingly cruel physical death of Christ on the cross was not necessary to pay that penalty.

Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

4) If God's Word was wrong about creation and about the meaning of Christ's death, it becomes obvious that its prophecies and promises concerning the future are of no value either.

Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

5) Finally, there remains no reason to believe in God at all—at least not in the personal, loving, omniscient, omnipotent, holy, righteous God that the Bible makes Him out to be. If that kind of God really existed, He would never have created the groaning, suffering, dying world implied by the long ages required for evolution.

Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Today, scientists tell us they use radiometric dating techniques to obtain the age of Earth. But, what they hide from you is the assumptions they must first make to get their results. They have to assume they know the quantity of the radiometric element originally contained in a sample, but there is no way to know that! They have to assume the rate of decay they detect today has always been the same, but there is no way to know that either! And on and on it goes. Scientists say that they radiometric dated Precambrian basement granite to 1.5 billion years old, yet the quantity of helium—the radioactively formed intermediate element of decay—is still mostly all in the rock! We can detect today the diffusion rate of helium atoms out of Precambrian rock, and with the quantity of helium still left in the rock it verifies the rock is only between 5,680 (+/- 2,000) years old! Friend, an extremely old Earth is nothing but a lie. God’s 7 day (7,000 year) plan is true and intact! Remember who wrote the Bible:

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

1Ti_6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

Page 25: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

What is the big deal concerning 7,000 years of mankind’s history? Did God give us any clues in the Bible that the END on planet Earth would be a significant time period? The answer is an overwhelming…YES!!! The dazzling fact is God incorporated His master TIME plan for mankind on Earth IN the Bible’s 7 day Creation story! Did you ever sit down and wonder why the Bible records that God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th? Why did it not take Him 3, 8, 11, 15, or any other number of days? And what is up with God resting on the 7th day? God does not need to rest!!! So why is a “day of rest” part of the Creation story?

Page 26: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

So, if we take our spiritual lens and zoom in a little closer on the exact words used in the Bible’s 7 day Creation story, we will be astonished at what we will find! Soon, it becomes apparent the story is not just a story at all, as God’s infinite wisdom and foresight come into perfect focus: For the Creation story was/is actually a terse PROPHETIC synopsis of God’s plan for mankind’s time on planet Earth!!!

Page 27: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

The idea that God has a 7,000 year plan is not a new one. In fact, it has been around for many centuries. The Epistle of Barnabas taught it in the first century A.D. by stating that “in six days, that is, in six thousand years, all things will be finished . . . This meaneth: when His Son, coming [again], shall destroy the time of the wicked man, and judge the ungodly, and change the-sun, and the moon, and the stars, then shall He truly rest on the seventh day.” (Epistle of Barnabas, XV verses 4-6) Irenaeus taught it in the second century, Commodianus in the third century, and in the fourth century Lactantius wrote that “the world must continue in its present state through six ages, that is, six thousand years . . . at the end of the six thousandth year all wickedness must be abolished from the earth, and righteousness reign for a thousand years…” (The Epitome of the Divine Institutes, Chapter 70)

We quote such authors because we believe they understood what the Bible had taught all along about God’s prophetic plan and that these truths have been neglected for centuries by most scholars and commentators, largely because it was a seemingly insignificant doctrine centuries ago and it is a negative and uncomfortable doctrine to many today. Our position is that a Bible doctrine is a Bible doctrine, regardless of what people think of it, and it should be taught.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

So, let's take a deeper look into this Doctrine and study these parables.

Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isa 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. Isa 28:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

In the Bible, God also uses numbers to communicate things to mankind. (Note: numbers are also a natural law of God’s created, see-able, physical world—which means He created them, too!)

Rev_13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The authenticity of the Holy Bible has been attacked at regular intervals by atheists and theologians alike but none have explained away the mathematical seal beneath its surface.

It would seem the divine hand has moved to prevent counterfeiting in the pages of the Bible, in a similar manner, to the line that runs through paper money. Bible numerics appears to be God's watermark of authenticity.

Excerpts from E.W. Bullinger's Number in Scripture ….

Isa 40:12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Psa 111:2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

“There can be neither works nor words without number. We can understand how man can act and speak without design or significance, but we cannot imagine that the great and infinite Creator and Redeemer could either work or speak without both His words and His works being absolutely perfect in every particular.”

Psa_18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Psa_19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

“They are both perfect in power, perfect in holiness and righteousness, perfect in design, perfect in execution, perfect in their object and end, and, may we not say, perfect in number.”

Psa_145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

“All His works were (and are) done, and all His words were spoken and written, in the right way, at the right time, in the right order, and in the right number.”

Psa_147:4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Isa_40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. Job_28:25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.

“We may, therefore, say with David:”

Psa_143:5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

“In all the works of God we find not only what we call Law, and a Law-maker, but we observe a Law enforcer. We speak of laws, but they are nothing In themselves. They have no being; they posses no power; they cannot make themselves, or carry themselves out. What we mean when we speak of law in nature is simply this: God in action; God not merely giving or making laws, but carrying them out and enforcing them.”

“As He is perfect, so His works and His words also must be perfect. And when we see number used not by chance, but by design; not at haphazard, but with significance; then we see not merely so many works and words, but the Living God working and Speaking.”

The First Day:

The first day in the Genesis account revealed what was done in that first literal twenty-four hour period.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

However, the first day also has a prophetic fulfillment by double reference, whichrevealed what was going to happen in the first one thousand years on planet earth.

Page 35: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

The "first day" of creation deals with God as the creator and shows his divine power.

It is also worth noting that during this first day, in the first three verses all three parts of the threefold Godhead are mentioned. In verse 1 God created... , or the Father.

In verse 2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, or the Holy Spirit.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created.....

In verse 3 And God said... or the Word of God, we know Jesus is the Word of God made flesh ,

Gen 1:2 …. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

thus the Son is referred to in this verse. So not only can we see God clearly in the first verse of the Bible but also the entire Godhead is clearly shown in its position as the source of all things.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Gen 1:3 And God said,...

Before Adam and Eve sinned, they had bodies of light or bodies clothed with light,

We see that Adam was created in God‘s image and likeness which includes the appearance of God. We can see more of how Adam was before the Fall and also how we shall be upon resurrection from the teaching of the Lord Jesus. We first note that while up by Cesarea Philippi Jesus took the disciples Peter, James and John to the top of Mount Hermon.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Jesus’ face not only shined as the sun, His clothes were also literally white as light,

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Psa 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Psa 104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

The creation account foretold that light and dark (or good and evil) would become discernible (or separated) in mankind’s spirits during the 1st millennial day.  Having eaten the forbidden fruit fromthe “tree of the knowledge of good & evil”, mankind instantly learnedthe difference between good & evil—which is to say “light & dark” . Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Due to the sin being passed down. Even the oldest man that lived, died in the day (one thousand years).

Again, the second day also has a prophetic fulfillment by double reference, whichrevealed what was going to happen in the second one thousand years on planet earth. Let's look at it in this chart:

Genesis 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which [were] under the firmament from the waters which [were] above the firmament: and it was so.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,Genesis 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.Genesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

This photo of a ‘fossilized Irish giant’ was taken at a London rail depot, and appeared in the December 1895 issue of Strand Magazine. The giant was allegedly dug up by a Mr Dyer while prospecting for iron ore in County Antrim (Ireland).

(They didn't have photoshop in 1895)

It was 12 ft 2 in (3.71 m) tall, weighed 2 tonnes, and had 6 toes on its right foot. After being exhibited in Dublin, it was brought to England and exhibited in Liverpool and Manchester at sixpence a head, ‘attracting scientific men as well as gaping sightseers’. After a legal dispute over ownership, nothing more appears to have been heard or seen of the exhibit.

An article from Strand magazine (December,1895) reprinted in “Traces of the Elder Faiths of Ireland” by W.G. Wood-Martin mentions this fossilized giant discovered during mining operations in County Antrim, Ireland:

This is one place where many seem to get lost on the road. It is crucial to understand that the sons of God are the fallen angels who came down to create a hybrid race of giants with the daughters of men. When this is understood, then and only then can you understand the parable/prophecy of the second day. Let's look at those verses again.

Genesis 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.Genesis 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which [were] under the firmament from the waters which [were] above the firmament: and it was so.Genesis 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.Lets look at what “waters” represent according to

the Bible:

Page 48: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Biblical Definitions:

Revelation 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Psalms 148:4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Psalms 77:16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

Waters = Spiritual nature

Page 49: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Let's look at those verses again.

Genesis 1:6 …. “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, ... let it divide the waters from the waters.Genesis 1:7 … “divided the waters which [were] under the firmament from the waters which [were] above the firmament:” ….Genesis 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven”....

God made a firmament to divide the multitudes above from the multitudes below and called it Heaven. And in the process He destroyed all the corrupted seed/generations that were already below with the flood of water that covered the planet earth. He saved Noah and his family because he was “perfect in his generations”. His genetics were not corrupted.

Genesis 6:9 These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and] perfect in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God.

Page 50: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

2Co 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

1Co 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 1Co 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

My belief is quite simple:

God says what he means and means what he says. We just need to believe him. Whether it makes sense or not.

Page 51: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Gen 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; Gen 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, Gen 18:3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: Gen 18:4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: Gen 18:5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. Gen 18:6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. Gen 18:7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. Gen 18:8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the

tree, and they did eat.

Angels can function in the same capacity as men. Here is but one of many examples.

Page 52: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Unless we stop depending on teachers and preachers to tell us what to think, and spend time in the Word ourselves, the Word will not really be in us. In fact, we will only have the thoughts of others. Our faith, and the salvation of others, may depend on how much “Word” is united with our spirit. This is Word we dug out ourselves, and digested it as food for our soul. It is not memorized doctrine from church. It is something Alive within us.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

God determined to call out a special people for Himself through whom He would bring blessing to all the nations.

The Abrahamic Covenant is described as an unconditional covenant. There are no conditions attached to it (no “if” clauses, suggesting its fulfillment is dependent on man). It is also an everlasting covenant. The promises that God made to Israel are eternal.

Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The main features to the Abrahamic Covenant:

1. The promise of land. God called Abraham from Ur of the Chaldees to a land that He would give him.

This promise is reiterated in Genesis 13:14–18.

Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Genesis 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.Genesis 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, [then] shall thy seed also be numbered.Genesis 13:17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

Page 58: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

The main features to the Abrahamic Covenant:

2. The promise of descendants. God promised Abraham that He would make a great nation out of him. Abraham, who was 75 years old and childless, was promised many descendants.

Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Genesis 1:10 And God called the dry [land] Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that [it was] good.

Let's again refer back to some definitions:

We must remember that the covenant with Abraham was a promise that God had declared in the Genisis account. But the promise came to fruition during this time period through Moses. God is not slack concerning his promise.

Moses gathered together and took all the children of Israel out of egypt and began the journey to the land that was promised too them.

Exo 6:2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: Exo 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. Exo 6:4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

Psalms 78:13 He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.

Proverbs 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Genesis 1:9 And God said, Let the waters “under” the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry [land] appear: and it was so.

Notice here that he was only dealing with the waters “under” the heaven on the third day. The waters (multitudes) above the heaven had already been divided by the heavens on the second day and were now instructed to not interfere. “The waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth” and “he made the waters to stand as an heap”.

The Fourth Day:

The fourth day in the Genesis account revealed what was done in that fourth literal twenty-four hour period.

Again, the fourth day also has a prophetic fulfillment by double reference, whichrevealed what was going to happen in the fourth-thousandth year on planet earth. Let's look at it in this chart:

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:Genesis 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also.Genesis 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,Genesis 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that [it was] good.Genesis 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

No one can know the true dates of anything during this period or any other for that matter, however, we can rely on God's sign's and His Word though. So, we can know that Jesus, and John the Baptist were born during this millinnium.

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The only sources of information on Jesus' birth are the gospels of Matthew and Luke of the Bible.

Matthew describes King Herod as the ruler during the time of the Nativity, and Herod is believed to have died in 4 BC. Furthermore, to kill Jesus and eliminate him as a rival king, Herod orders the "Massacre of the Innocents" — the killing of all male children in Bethlehem aged two years and under. This means that Jesus would likely have been up to two years old or younger by Herod's death in 4 BC, possibly setting the Nativity around 5 or 6 BC.

Luke places the Nativity during the Census of Quirinius, which took place in 6 AD, although Luke states the conception took place during the reign of King Herod — about 10 years earlier.

Because both Gospel accounts agree that the birth took place before the death of Herod, historians generally assume Jesus was born around 5 BC or slightly before.

The likely date of Jesus' birth was 5 BC, which fits the Biblical and historical evidence. This date is based on Jesus being less than 2 years old at the time of the 'Massacre of the Innocents', and having been born sometime before the death of Herod in 4 BC. Matthew 2:14,15 says that

Mat 2:14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: Mat 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

John 9:1 And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man which was blind from [his] birth.John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.John 9:6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,John 9:7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

The fifth day in the Genesis account revealed what was done in that fifth literal twenty-four hour period.

Again, the fifth day also has a prophetic fulfillment by double reference, whichrevealed what was going to happen in the fifth one thousand years on planet earth. Let's look at it in this chart:

Jesus began His preaching ministry in Judea along the Jordan, near where John the Baptist was preaching. The early chapters of John tell of this. Matthew takes up the story with His return to Galilee after Herod put John in prison. His “headquarters” in Galilee was not in Nazareth, the home of His childhood, but in Capernaum by the Sea of Galilee.

His message was similar to that of John: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near” (Mat 4:17). The specifics of that message are in the Sermon on the Mount (Mat chapters 5 – 7). Matthew 4:23 says His message was:

Mat 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Page 78: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Day 5 begins in which life (moving creatures) existed (or came into being) in the Creation narrative.

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Millennial day 5 of mankind's existence was to be the beginning in which Christ's redemptive work would be available to mankind even as they lived their life on Earth.

Gen 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

But please understand Christ's "work of atonement" was retroactive as well, meaning once he died on the cross, all the righteous dead who had lived during the first 4,000 years of mankind now found life for their souls, too!

“and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.”

Page 79: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Mar 1:16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. Mar 1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

The Fifth day prophecy / parable speaks of creating great whales (The Twelve Apostles) and the living creatures (peoples) that will be brought forth by the waters (holy spirit).

Mar 1:19 And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets. Mar 1:20 And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

It should be of no great surprise here when he says “fishers of men” when the fifth day of creation speaks of the waters bringing forth the creatures and creating great whales. It is all part of his plan from the beginning.

The Sixth Day:

The sixth day in the Genesis account reveals what will be done in the sixth literal twenty-four hour period.

Again, the sixth day also has a prophetic fulfillment by double reference, whichrevealed what was going to happen in the sixth one thousand years on planet earth. Let's look at it in this chart:

Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Gen 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

I believe that God is clearly telling us how far He is going to let us go before He puts a stop to it. He is saying that he will “let us (the earth) try to create things our way”. But then in the next verse He is reminding us that He made the creatures, not us. And we should trust in how He made them. How He made them was good!

Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

In order to have a deeper and fuller understanding of this narrative in these first two verses of day six, we must make a comparison of the similarities and differenses. Lets look at it in this chart;

“Let the earth bring forth”

“God made”

V.24

V.25

“and it was so.”

(not good, just that it was so.)

“God saw that itwas good.”

(Let us bring forth)

“living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind:”

(God made us perfect, we can do no better )

“The beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind:”

However, He also reminds us in the very next verse that it was He that has made us, and we should have faith in him. Not in ourselves or our own creations.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Many christians believe that the “us” is refering to the trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost), However in light of what has been addressed before and what will be shown in the following frames we can conclude that the “us” is God letting us try to make ouselves into god's.

Psa 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Let us take a look and see if this parable / prohecy is coming true today. Is God allowing / letting the earth (man) to try and create creatures and ouselves better than what God has created.

Again we must do a comparison of the differences and similarities in these two verses. Let's look at this chart:

V.26

V.27

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:”

“God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him;”

“male and female created he them.”

“and let them have dominion ….”

“V. 28 goes on to say he blesses what He created and again he repeats - to give dominion”

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

(and let us have dominion, He didn't bless this action nor did He say it was good.)

(let mankind make man)

The following subject has been talked about, debated, and discussed in such detailed and critical views that I am just so tired of hearing man's interpretation's, nor do I believe that mine can do any better justice than the Scriptures themselves.

When all we must remember is:

Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

We have been waiting for the prophesied pair of the ages to arrive. And it looks like their arrival is much closer than most even suspect.

The Bible prophesies of a time when two leaders will come to power under Satan's approval and authority to deceive the world and enslave them into worshipping Satan as God. The first beast, known as the Antichrist, will not come claiming he is Satan. He will come acting like he is God, and the second beast will declare the first one is God and force the world to worship the Antichrist as one.

The Bible reveals that in the last days two beasts would arise to power and work together to deceive and destroy mankind. The Antichrist and the False Prophet.

The fact that there are two beasts is self explanatory.

Pope John Paul II allowed a Shiva priestess to create the traditional Shiva mark on his forehead. Of course, this event will cause any person to sit up and take notice, those of us who literally believe Biblical prophecy. In the Book of Revelation, the False Prophet, the leader of the new global religion of Antichrist, causes all people in the world to take a mark, either in the forehead or in the right hand. Therefore, it is a big deal when a Pagan priestess causes a mark to be made in the forehead of the Pope!

You can see for yourself, the original picture is from FCFC (Former Catholics For Christ). You can see the priestess reach up with her right hand, planting the Shiva mark upon the forehead of the Pope, John Paul II.

Pope John Paul II is defying the solemn Words of Jesus Christ when he gives credence and validity to the Pagan religion of Shiva. The Pope is denying, by his actions, that Christianity is the only real religion on Earth. But he is doing much more: he is defying the commandment of God in Jeremiah 10:2, "Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen".

Pope Tells Catholics Not To Seek Forgiveness Directly From God!

28. ... It is good to renew and reaffirm this faith at a moment when it might be weakening, losing something of its completeness or entering into an area of shadow and silence, threatened as it is by the negative elements of the above-mentioned crisis. For the sacrament of confession is indeed being undermined, on the one hand by the obscuring of the mortal and religious conscience, the lessening of a sense of sin, the distortion of the concept of repentance and the lack of effort to live an authentically Christian life. And on the other hand, it is being

undermined by the sometimes widespread idea that one can obtain forgiveness directly from God, even in a habitual way, without approaching the sacrament of reconciliation. A further negative influence is the routine of a sacramental practice sometimes lacking in fervor and real spontaneity, deriving perhaps from a mistaken and distorted idea of the effects of the sacrament.

Source: Pope John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation RECONCILIATION AND PENANCE, dated December 2nd, 1984.

The Pope is saying that a Catholic must seek out a priest to confess their sins and ask forgiveness only through the priest, and that this "sacrament" of confession/penance is undermined by those who think they can directly approach God directly for forgiveness. This makes the Catholic priest essential in the process of salvation, since he stands in the place of God, as another mediator between man and God. This is not a novel teaching in the Catholic Church, is has a long history:

St. Leo the Great (440-461) writes: "God in His abundant mercy has provided two remedies for the sins of men; that they may gain eternal life by the grace of Baptism, and also by the remedy of Penance. Those who have violated the vows of their Baptism may obtain the remission of their sins by condemning themselves; the divine goodness has so decreed that [pg. 284] the pardon of God can only be obtained by sinners through the prayers of the priests. Jesus Christ Himself has conferred upon the rulers of the Church the power of imposing canonical penance upon sinners who confess their sins, and of allowing them to receive the Sacraments of Christ, after they have purified their souls by a salutary satisfaction. . . . " (Epis. cviii.). [Emphasis supplied]

Dagon was a major northwest Semitic god, reportedly of grain and agriculture. He was worshiped by the early Amorites and by the inhabitants of the cities of Ebla and Ugarit (which was an ancient city near the Mediterranean containing a large variety of ancient writings and pagan shrines). He was also a major member, or perhaps head, of the pantheon of the Biblical Philistines.

1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

The Seventh Day:

The seventh day in the Genesis account reveals what will be done in the seventh literal twenty-four hour period.

Again, the seventh day also has a prophetic fulfillment by double reference, whichrevealed what was going to happen in the seventh-thousand years. Let's look at it in this chart:

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

The number seven is used more than all other numbers in the Word of God, save the number ONE.

In the Book of Revelation the number SEVEN is used throughout. There are SEVEN churches, SEVEN Spirits, SEVEN stars, SEVEN seals, SEVEN trumpets, SEVEN vials, SEVEN personages, SEVEN dooms, and SEVEN new things. SEVEN symbolizes Spiritual Perfection. All of life revolves around this number.

The whole Word of God is founded upon the number SEVEN. It stands for the SEVENTH day of the Creation Week, and speaks of the Millennial Rest day. It denotes COMPLETENESS or PERFECTION.

“It is DONE” is a telling expression found in connection with the number Seven.

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

In Leviticus 23:15-16, the number SEVEN and the Sabbath, which was the SEVENTH day, is connected with the word COMPLETE. The word COMPLETE follows after the words “SEVEN SABBATH” (Seventh day). The day following the SEVENTH sabbath there was something NEW that took place.

The word FINISHED is also connected with the number SEVEN. In Revelation 10:7 we read,

Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Do atheists give God and the Bible credit for it?

There are SEVEN notes in the musical scale. All other pitches are only variations of these. When the musician uses the eighth note he goes back to “do” and starts over. Man named the notes but God fixed the sounds, even as God fixed the days of the week, and man named them.

The Original Second Coming Prophet

If I were to ask you to name the first man to prophecy the Second Coming, who would you name? If you are thinking of anyone in the New Testament, you are way too late. If you are even thinking of any of the standard Bible prophets, you are still too late. Strange as it may seem, the Second Coming of Christ was first prophesied before Noah’s flood (which makes the flood a type of the Second Coming – Luke 17:26). We learn this from Jude 14:

This tells us that God has planned a kingdom since the very beginning! In fact, Jude’s words offer us a very strong hint as to when this kingdom will be by telling us that Enoch was the “seventh” from Adam. Why would it matter that Enoch was the “seventh” from Adam? The Bible is filled with truth-telling prophets who have no connection to the number seven at all, yet for some reason the Holy Spirit wants us to know that the first man to prophecy the Second Coming was connected to the number seven. Could it be that this is because Christ’s Second Coming will begin the seventh day, or seventh millennium, on God’s calendar?

Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

The Real End of Slavery

Exodus 21:2 tells us that Hebrew servants were to be set free after six years of service:

So man has to serve under the “bondage of corruption” for six millenniums. Then in the seventh millennium, he enters into

Exo 21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

while Satan the slave master is bound for a thousand years (Rev. 20:1-3).

In the second chapter of Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream of a great image whose head was of gold, arms and breasts of silver, his belly and things of brass, legs of iron, and feet of iron and clay. (Daniel 2:31-33) Daniel told him that he was the head of gold (vs 37-38) In the next chapter Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold to be worshiped At that time he called together SEVEN kinds of officials to the dedication of the image: (1) princes, (2) governors, (3) captains, (4) judges, (5) treasurers (6) counselors, (7) sheriffs. The penalty for refusing to worship that image was death by being cast into the burning fiery furnace.

THREE Hebrew children refused to worship the image and were cast into that furnace of death, and brought forth alive, thus picturing the resurrection, that furnace was heated SEVEN times hotter than it had ever been. Here is a picture of COMPLETE DELIVERANCE FOR GOD’S PEOPLE from the power of death through the fire. (Daniel 3:1-27) When those THREE Hebrew children came out of that furnace of fire, or death, there was not a trace of fire upon their bodies or their clothing. When Christ brings His people out of death there will not be a trace of death left on them. They will be COMPLETELY delivered from its power.

The Sabbath Provision of Manna

After leaving Egypt and crossing the Red Sea, the Israelites began receiving daily provisions of manna, a miraculous bread from God. They were commanded to go out in the morning and gather enough manna for that day’s eating. But they were not permitted to gather manna on the seventh day, therefore God supplied them with a double portion on the sixth day. “Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.” (Exo. 16:4-5) The manna pictures Christ (John 6:51), but it also pictures the word of God: “. . . man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” (Luke 4:4) Thinking of the six day manna provision as a type of God’s word, notice how perfectly it matches the six thousand years of human history. For the first two thousand years (4,000 BC to 2,000 BC), there was no written Scripture at all, and a very limited number of prophets. For the next two thousand years (2,000 BC to Christ), Scripture began to be recorded and preserved, and God’s prophets increased, but there was still a very limited supply. That’s four millennial days so far. Then on the fifth millennial day (Christ to 1,000 AD), the canon of Scripture is complete and the Great Commission gets underway, but within four hundred years the Roman Catholic Church plunges the world into the Dark Ages for the next thousand years! So, day five offers a very limited supply of manna as well. Then comes the sixth day (1,000 AD to 2,000 AD). The first half of this day looked rather gloomy and no more promising than the other days. Then came the Reformation (roughly 1,400 AD to 1,600 AD). The printing press was invented, Bibles began showing up everywhere, Rome’s heresies were seen for what they were, and people by the millions began leaving the harlot church and embracing the word of God. Then in 1611 God gave the world the King James Bible, the book that would be used by Clark, Stearns, Wesley, Whitfield, Cartwright, Spurgeon, Moody, Talmadge, Sunday, Jones, Larkin, Scofield, and Ruckman. All of this happened on the sixth millennial day of God’s calendar (1,000 AD to 2,000 AD), and more manna was fed to more souls than on any other millennial day since the creation of the world. Why? Obviously, God is getting people ready for the Sabbath, just as He did in Exodus, except this time it will be a 1,000 year Sabbath!

After the second coming, Jesus Christ will reign in His kingdom. What will the kingdom be like? Here we will examine some of the basic characteristics of the kingdom.

One of the most concise and informative passages on the kingdom occurs in Revelation. After the description of the Lord's second coming in chapter 19, but before the great white throne judgment in Revelation 20:11-15 and the eternal kingdom in chapters 21 and 22, we have this description of the kingdom.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The previous passages make several things very clear. Satan will be bound and unable to influence mankind. The first resurrection, the resurrection of the saints, will occur at the beginning of the kingdom.

The duration of this kingdom will be one millennium. This passage also makes it very clear by telling us that it will last one thousand years. Satan will be released for a brief period after the one thousand years.

The Millennial reign of Christ is a 1,000 years literal reign. There are many people today who don't really believe that Christ will physically come back to reign, but we are going to see that He must come back and He will reign. You might say, "I thought when Christ comes back He is going to rule forever." Well, He will rule forever, but we've got to see that God has ordained a 1,000 year period in prophecy and that period will accomplish something in the program of God. It is going to be wonderful.

What is the Millennial Reign of Christ?

Page 148: God's Millennial Plan. Regardless of who you approach on the streets today, whether sinner or saint; They are conscious of the fact that time is about

This period of time in which Jesus Christ will reign on the earth for 1,000 years is in fulfillment of many prophecies. During this rule of Christ, Satan will be bound and sealed in the Bottomless Pit, so he will have no influence on the earth to deceive mankind. I really love that part of prophecy, because during the Millennial Kingdom, God is going to bind the Devil. Satan will be cast into a bottomless pit and there he will have no influence during the time of the Millennial Kingdom. Even though there will still be sin during the Millennium, Satan's influence will not be there. A man that sins in the Millennium won't be able to say, "The Devil made me do it." The Devil won't be around during that time, and I will tell you a little more about that in regards to why later.

At that time Jesus Christ will rule the entire world. He will be King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will sit on the throne of King David ruling from Israel. We know that Christ came the first time and the Jews hailed Him as King. They threw the palm branches in front of Him. But, we know that Jesus never physically officiated as king and ruler on the throne of David. He never really sat on the throne of David. That is a physical prophecy that literally must come to pass, and Christ will fulfill that prophecy.

Now, regarding the character of the kingdom, the book of Isaiah is rich with kingdom prophecies. In Isaiah 11:6-9 it is revealed that;

Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

First of all, we see that animals that are presently carnivorous, will begin to eat vegetation only, so that the animals will not fear one another or harm people. Many have taken this passage and tried to spiritualize (allegorically interpret) the truth away from it, saying it is not literal. All animals literally will be herbivores in the future, just as all animals once were herbivores in the garden, since neither man nor beast ate animal flesh prior to the great flood during the time of Adam & Eve.

Micah and Jeremiah also refer to Jesus Christ judging the nations of the earth. He will do so in all wisdom and perfect justice, with a rod of iron.

Mic 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. Jer 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Isa 1:26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

He will reign as a literal king on a throne, dwelling in Jerusalem. He will also restore the judges to Israel.

Who will the judges of the twelve tribes of Israel be? Jesus Christ told His disciples,;

Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Zec 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. Zec 14:10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. Zec 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

Jer 3:17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. Jer 3:18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Moses, the Clouds, and The Second Coming at Seven

“And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.” (Exo. 24:16-18) Notice that the cloud covered Sinai for six days, and then God called Moses up into the midst of the cloud on the seventh day. Likewise, God will call His people up “in the clouds” (I Ths. 4:17) when He calls out the church in the Rapture, and this well be after six thousand years, or six millennial days. Also, it is interesting that God spoke to Moses out of a cloud since Christ also “cometh with clouds” (Rev. 1:7). It’s also significant that Moses is one of the two witnesses that are taken up to heaven “in a cloud” in Revelation 11:12. This too happens after six thousand years.

Israel Cleansed of Her “Leprosy” on the Seventh Day

“And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days. But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.” (Lev. 14:8-9) Here we see that under Israel’s Mosaic law the leper could not be considered clean until the seventh day. Leprosy pictures sin throughout the Bible, and it isn’t until the seventh millennial day that Israel is cleansed of her sins (Isa. 40:2), and this doesn’t happen until “the glory of the LORD” is revealed at the Second Coming (Isa. 40:5).

Israel’s Seventh Month

Israel’s calendar had twelve months, just as ours has twelve months, but God chose to make the seventh month the most special (Lev. 23:23-44). It was in the seventh month that three major Jewish events occurred (the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles). This likely signifies the fact that the tribulation trumpets will sound, Israel’s sins will be atoned for, and Christ will tabernacle (dwell) among His people on the seventh millennial day. In fact, this is not some new symbolism. The Scofield Reference Bible has been tying the Levitical feasts to Bible prophecy for over one hundred years. Unfortunately, this truth has been largely ignored and understudied by Christians.

The Land Sabbath

“Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.” (Lev. 25:3-4) Again we see the 6/1 principle that is so common in the Scriptures. The Hebrew under the law would till his land and grow his crops for six years, but then allow the land to rest during the seventh year. Obviously, this foreshadows the coming millennial Sabbath of Isaiah 14:7: “The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.”

Seven Trumpets after Six Days

“Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.” (Jsh. 6:1-5) Anyone familiar with the book of Revelation recognizes the typology. The six days obviously picture the six thousand years of man’s dominion on earth. Joshua and his men picture Jesus and His saints who will take possession of the kingdoms of this world after six millennial days. And, just as in Joshua’s day, this happens after seven trumpets sound. Revelation 11:15 says, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” Furthermore, the words Joshua and Jesus mean the same thing and are used interchangeably twice in the New Testament (Heb. 4:8; Acts 7:45).

The King Revealed at Seven

“And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain. And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.” (II Kgs. 11:1-3) The name Joash means “whom Jehovah bestowed,” which makes him a picture of Jesus Christ, along with the fact that he was a good Jewish king who replaced corrupt leaders. He was hid in the house of the Lord six years before becoming king. Then notice what happened in the seventh year: “And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD, and shewed them the king's son . . . And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.” (Verses 4 & 12) So Jesus is presently “hid” in heaven, and He will be revealed and crowned after six thousand years of Satan’s corrupt leadership.

Six Steps to the Throne

“And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays.” Solomon’s peaceful kingdom was a foreshadow of the coming millennial kingdom of Christ. In fact, Jesus is called the “son of David,” like Solomon (Mat. 9:27), and He compared Himself to Solomon (Mat. 12:42). Notice that there were exactly six steps to the throne. There were not three or four, and there were not seven or eight. There were six steps to Solomon’s glorious throne. The reason is clear: there are six millennial steps to Christ millennial throne, each step being a thousand years.

The Witness of Micah

The book of Micah has seven chapters. Interestingly enough, it is the fifth chapter that speaks of the birth of Jesus: “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Why is the fifth chapter interesting? It is because Jesus was born on the fifth day of human history. Four thousand years had already transpired (four millennial days), and the fifth day had begun. But Micah chapter five is the fifth chapter out of seven, so does anything in chapter seven correspond to God’s seventh day. Naturally, something does: “Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.” (Mic. 7:7-9) Here we have Israel looking to the Lord and finding Christ as her “light.” She bears her indignation through the church age and the tribulation, and then God pleads her cause and fights for her at Armageddon. He then brings her forth “to the light” of Jesus Christ, and she beholds “his righteousness.” All of this happens after six thousand years, so Micah chapter seven is a fine placement for the above words.

Christ Abiding Two Days

“Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.” (John 11:5-6)

When you hear that someone you love is sick, it is highly irregular to abide two days still in the same place where you are! Yet, this is precisely what Jesus did in the case of Lazarus. We are told why He did this in verse four: “. . . This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” Well, Lazarus certainly did die (vs. 14), but it wasn’t Jesus’ plan for him to remain dead. Jesus tarried two extra days before going to Lazarus so that there would be enough time for Lazarus to die and be dead for four days (vs. 39). Any Jew understood that corruption set in on a corpse after three days (Psa. 16:10), so raising Lazarus from the dead after four days would be perceived by everyone as a genuine miracle, thus glorifying God as Jesus stated in verse four. What’s so interesting, as far as the typology is concerned, is the fact that there just happens to be a two day waiting period, allowing Lazarus time to be dead four days. This two day period pictures the two millennium church age in which Israel appears to become dead as a nation. Then, when it seems that all hope is gone (as with Lazarus), Christ restores His chosen people to their land (1900-1948), resurrects them as a nation (1948), then gives to them a new birth (Great Tribulation). See Ezekiel 37:1-14 and Isaiah 66:8 for the Scriptural support. When Jesus returns, He will revive Israel just as He revived Lazarus, after “two days.”

Israel Revived after Two Days

One of the most remarkable passages that supports the doctrine of God having a seven thousand year plan is found in Hosea 5:15-6:2: “I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”

About the best the standard commentators can do with the passage is make some application to the third day resurrection of Jesus (a no brainer, if you ever saw one), and some can’t even manage that. This is largely because most commentators before the twentieth century were post-millennial or a-millennial and did not believe in the pre-millennial return of Christ. Naturally, this blinded them to just about everything you’ve been reading in this booklet. With God’s help, I believe we can make a little more sense out of the passage.

“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence . . .” This refers to Jesus returning to heaven after being rejected and crucified by the Jews. He will remain there until they “acknowledge their offense” and “seek” him in the Great Tribulation, which the passage calls “their affliction.” They will then “return unto the LORD” and be revived “after two days,” which equals a two thousand year church age, toward the end of which Israel becomes a nation (1948) in preparation for a spiritual revival later. Finally, “in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” refers to the nation being totally revived and regenerated at the Second Coming of Christ and living in His sight in the millennial kingdom, which is the “third day” after Calvary, the “third day” after their offense of rejecting Christ.

The Third Day Marriage

“And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.” (John 2:1-2) Why does the Holy Spirit bother to mention that this marriage was on the “third day” in distinction from other days? What difference does it make, if it were on the third day, the second day, or the tenth or fifteenth day? It makes a big difference in the context of our study, because it is on the third millennial day after Calvary that the Marriage of the Lamb occurs, when Christ receives His bride (Rev. 19:7). To remind us that all of this is after six millennial days of human history, we see in John 2:6-11 that there were “six” water pots, and the water content of each was turned into wine, thus pointing to the joy that Israel and the heirs of the earth will display when Christ rules on the third millennial day following Calvary (Zch. 10:7; Song. 1:4; Deu. 14:26; Joel 2:19; Psa. 4:7).

The Lord Comes Down On the Third Day

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.” (Exo. 19:10-11) There it is again. The people were sanctified for two days before the Lord came down in their sight on the third day, obviously pointing to the third millennial day after Calvary, which follows 2,000 years of Christ sanctifying a people for His name. But that’s not all. Verses sixteen through twenty offer numerous Second Coming references on this “third day.” There is the “morning” and the “thunders and lightnings,” the “thick cloud,” the “voice of the trumpet,” the “smoke,” the fact that the mount “quaked,” then “the LORD came down,” and “Moses went up.” I trust that by now an explanation of each term is unnecessary. If I’m wrong, a good concordance should do the trick.

The Third Day House of the LORD

In II Kings 20:5, God assured Hezekiah that He would heal him of his sickness by saying, “. . . behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.” Again, we see two days of healing and then a completion on the third day. Christ began healing sinners at His First Coming, and He continues healing sinners for two thousand years. Then the “house of the LORD” is established in the third millennial day after Calvary, which is the seventh and final millennial day from the creation. A good reference is Micah 4:1: “But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.”

The Good Samaritan’s “Two Pence”

The parable of the good Samaritan is one of the most favorite lessons given by Jesus, obviously due to the strength of its moral teaching. But, as we are about to see, the story offers a bit of prophecy as well.

“And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.” (Luke 10:30-35)

Okay, put on your typology helmet just one more time; we’re going for a little ride. In type, the man that went “down” from Jerusalem to Jericho is mankind, who took a big step down into sin in the garden of Eden. When he did so, Satan “stripped him of his raiment,” which speaks of man originally being clothed in righteousness, but losing his righteousness due to sin. He is now “wounded” and “half dead.” The term “half dead” is perfect because man died spiritually in Eden, but not physically. To this day, all lost men are “half dead.”

The priest and the Levite fail to help the man, picturing how religion and legalism fails to help sinners today. Then a Samaritan, picturing Jesus, had compassion on him and did a number of things for him. First, He “bound up his wounds,” picturing how Jesus can bind up the wounds of sin and make a man whole again. Then he poured in “oil and wine,” which reminds us of how we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, which gives us the joy of the Lord once we are saved. Then he “set him on his own beast,” picturing the way Jesus wants us to bring our burdens to him. Then He “brought him to an inn, and took care of him,” rather than leave him where He found him, which speaks of Christ wanting His people to become part of a good church so He can take care of them. Then He departed on the next days with the promise of coming again: “. . . he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.” If you’ll check Matthew 20:2, you will see that a penny was a day’s pay at that time, which means that two pence is two day’s pay. The good Samaritan planned to return after two days.
