AMEFA flatware

Amefa is our Netherlands-based flatware partner that has been churning out unique utensils since 1965. They answered our prayers when they developed copper, gold and matte black flatware at an affordable price point. These three finishes are applied to simple, yet elegant 18/0 stainless steel flatware using the PVD* method, and the result is an eye-popping aesthetic.

*What is PVD? We’re glad you asked. It stands for Physical Vapor Deposition and it is a vacuum method used to coat metal in another layer of metal, i.e. copper, gold, silver or even titanium. It’s science, and it’s also what many flatware factories use to make their forks and knives copper or gold.
