A message from the 2014 Tournament Chair
In its more than two decades, United Way of Winnipeg’s annual golf tournament has established itself as one of the premier fundraising golf tournaments in Winnipeg. Each year it attracts 152 players, 38 teams and many sponsors. And for good reason.
United Way is a Winnipeg institution which, through events like the golf tournament, offers people from every sector an opportunity to work together to support so many agencies and so much good work in our community. Also it’s just a great day of golf that gives participants a chance to connect with other business leaders.
This year’s tournament will take place on August 6, 2014 at Pine Ridge Golf Club. As the new chair of the tournament, I’m
looking forward to engaging even more members of the business community and enabling even more positive change for Winnipeg.
Within the pages of this book I hope you’ll fi nd your way to connect and network, to enhance your profi le and brand, and to showcase your commitment to that generous cooperative spirit that Winnipeg is famous for.
See you on the links!
Sincerely,
Tim ProkipchukDirector of Business SalesRogers Communications Inc.2014 Tournament Chair
