Taking the message of the Gospel to our community and to the farthest parts of theearth is the very heart of all that we do at Grace Baptist Temple. Dr. Kenneth Walters has served as Pastor ofSouthside Baptist Church for over 35 years. Dr.Walters has a tremendous burden for world evan-gelism. Over the years, many Christians have sur-rendered to God’s call to full time Christianservice. Many have gone on to serve in foreignmission fiields. Under Dr. Walters leadership,Southside has planted churches in Kenya, SouthAfrica, and Brazil.

Dr. Walters serves on the Pastor’s Advisory Boardof Fundamental Broadcasting Network, Newport,NC; Silent Word Ministries International, Trenton,Georgia and Ambassador Baptist College, Latti-more, NC. Additionally, he and Chris teach in theDeputation School of Global Independent BaptistMissions, Lewisville, Texas.

WHAT IS FAITH PROMISE GIVING? Faith Missions giving is Grace Baptist Temple’s way ofgiving to world evangelism. Rather than waiting to respond to individual appeals as they comealong, believers make a financial commitment by asking the Lord how much they should give tomissions over the next year. This makes missions giving strategic rather than sporadic.

WHAT IS THE SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR FAITH PROMISE GIVING?-1. Faith giving is obedience to the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20)2. Faith giving is sacrificial (II Corinthians 8:2-3, II Corinthians 9:6-15)3. Faith giving reflects our personal commitments (II Corinthians 8:5)4. Faith giving comes from a willing heart and demonstrates our love for Christ (Romans 12:9-10)

WHY SHOULD I PERSONALLY GET INVOLVED IN FAITH PROMISE GIVING? Jesus said,“Go YE therefore, teaching all nations….”. You are YE! As a child of God and part of this localchurch, we have the responsibility to take the Gospel to all nations. Your Faith Missions involve-ment says that you believe world evangelism is vital to accomplishing the mission of the church,and the gospel can change lives.

WHAT ARE OUR GO MISSIONS GOALS FOR 2014?1. Annual FPM budget increase by 20% & the creation of a church planting budget.2. Every family unit commit and participate in Faith Promise Missions.3. Commit support to both of our Guest Missionaries for #GOMC2014.4. For God to speak to hearts and call servants into full time or lay service.

SCHEDULE: Services begin each night at 700pm on Wed-Fri. The All Nations Dinner will beginat 600pm on Saturday. Sunday’s services will be conducted as normal.
