OVERALL PAYOUT:• There will be an overall payout for riders who com-

pete in BOTH Come and Take It Bicycle Races (Town Square Criterium and Cost Road Race).

• Riders must compete in the same category both days to be eligible for the overall payout.

• Overall payout will be 5 places deep in each category.• Placement in both races will be added together

to determine the overall total. The rider with the lowest total number of points will win the overall for that category. In cases of points ties, the rider who finished higher in the criterium will be the winner.

• Category payouts will be as follows:• M 5 – None• Jr. 4/5 - None• W 4 - $250• M 4 - $375• M 34+ 4/5 - $375

COURSE:The course is a flat 6 corner criterium measuring 0.75 miles around the historic courthouse and square in downtown Gonzales, TX (see inset). The roads are pavement and the course will be closed to traffic. Wheels In – Wheels Out. Riders deemed out of conten-tion may be pulled by the chief referee. The course is close to shopping, so bring the family!

DIRECTIONS:From US 183, go west on Alt US 90 for 0.25 miles. Turn South on St. Joseph Street. Travel 1.0 miles South on St. Joseph Street to the two town square parking areas which will be reserved for race parking.

Gonzales is centrally located and is 64 miles SE of Austin, 74 miles E of San Antonio, and 135 miles W of Houston.

REGISTRATION:• Preregistration through bikereg.com (online

registration service fees apply) and closes at 11:59 pm (CDT) on 7/21/2011.

• All USA Cycling riders must present their valid USAC license to the registration prior to signing in.

• Day of race registration opens at 7 am and closes 15 minutes prior to race start. Late registration fee $10.

• No refunds of registration fees for missed races or cancellations.

• Field limits strictly enforced.• Payouts will be split as follows:• 8 places – 27%, 21%, 15%, 12%, 10%, 7%, 5%, 3%• 10 places - 27%, 21%, 15%, 10%, 7%, 6%, 5%,

4%, 3%, 2%• 19 places – 27%, 21%, 15%, 8%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%,

2%, 2%, 2%, 2%, 1%, 1%, 1%, 1%, 1%, 1%, 1%• Littering during the race will be considered a DQ

infraction.• The race venue is considered a “No Public Nudity”

area – violations of that policy will be considered a DQ infraction and possible police matter.
